Why is the aim just "highlighting our plight"? Our plight has been highlighted for years.

I'm not saying sit and be happy, it's the whole aim of just getting in the paper.

The video wasnt a bad thing, I doubt any of them claim to be the next el divo and it's clear they aren't taking themselves seriously with the outfit. So it's ok to smile at it, it's a different angle than a really bad atmosphere and shouting etc.

It seems to offend that not everybody is shouting and bursting a blood vessel 24/7 or writing lists in every thread wether is related or not.
Because their right to want to get it in the papers, the more the better keep it coming,
And humour is good :) people like to have a laugh.
Look, some will like it, some won't, some will be indifferent to it, some will find it childish
But I tell you who will hate it 'SISU ' and that will do for me.

That's the thing, they really won't care about it. They will probably have a giggle at it too if they see it.

At least this is better than the anger and the venom and is light hearted. Have said that way is much better because if it doesn't get sisu out, at least ccfc fans can smile together until some nutter loses his shit because people aren't getting angry by it.

We will have to disagree because I don't think they'll be giggling, a constant stream of
Humorous or otherwise publicity highlighting their disastrous mismanagement will be
Something they could do without.
But of course it's all about opinions.

We desperately need to get rid of SISU or this club will surely die, but you'd
Rather froth at the mouth about Richardson.
I'm with Torch on this one.

Maybe it was a bit silly of him to want a song for Richardson. He isn't still at our club wrecking it. But if you think he deserves a song then we would be here all day working out the others that have done damage to us in the past.

But Richardson was the catalyst of all of our present problems. No Richardson no massive debt. No HR sold without means of building a new stadium. No CCC jumping in to 'help', no SISU and no looking like division 4 football next season.

NINE years of unacceptable fucking dire shit have nothing to do with the previous custodians.
Not true though is it? He left us without our own ground and seriously in debt. Just the same place that we are in now except we are a level lower and looking like making it 2 levels lower.

Very rarely disagree with you Astute, but this time I do to a point. SISU took charge and Ranson declared "There is no debt, and this Football Club is one of only 3-4 Clubs that are debt free". So who's fault is it that we're now(To here some say) £60m-£70m in debt? Not Richardson.

When Richardson left we were said to be 60m in debt. Those that followed him sold what was left other than Ryton to pay as much off as they could. But we were still seriously still in debt.

I haven't said that SISU have done the right thing. They have been very bad for us. But whatever way you look at it Richardson started it all off. Without him SISU wouldn't be with us.

Totally agree with your post (Highlighted) but can't get my head round posts that say it's all down to Richardson. We had a "Clean Slate" according to Ranson. A new start with £20m being made ready to push on back into the Premiership, yet are far deeper in debt now than ever.

Why do you always try your living best to stir up a shitfest?

It wasn't stirring it up. It was a joke more aimed at Astute, hence the smileys.

Nobody ever says "it is all down to a single person or party" for the shit we are in now.

I really like that little ditty { Apart from the quality of singing, no offence guys } ! Good to stage it where they did and fantastic that fans still care enough and have the gallows humour to put stuff together like that. It demonstrates to me that as soon as SISU have finally done one, the City and it's people will return and support their football club.

I have heard they are being approached to perform in the cathedral at Christmas

Anyone that says it is all down to Richardson is wrong. But he certainly started it all off. We have never recovered from what happened to our club while he was in charge. We don't own our own stadium because of him. How can anyone say that none of it is his fault?

Anyone that says it is all down to SISU is wrong. We were in the shit before they arrived. That is why they came to our club. They have done just about everything wrong though.

SISU are about the worse owners we could have got. I am never going to disagree with anyone there. I just can't take people stating something as fact that is wrong. That is why I get into so many stupid arguments on here. And it might slightly show my impartiality as I am normally saying how shit SISU are and not defending them.

Seen as though Torch had the idea of doing a Richardson version, maybe he should do it and post video on here ?
Or is he one of those people who only nominates and has good ideas for others!

Where? In this thread Torch also blames SISU.
The only people who seem to only blame 1 party are those who shout SISU for everything and anything.
The concept that everything SISU have done is some kind of consequential result of their predecessors actions is as much a myth as SISU being at fault for it all. There's absolutely no need to water down the attention on this light hearted protest though by dragging Richardson into it - and that's what people have taken exception to here. SISU have done many, many things that are indisputably their own doing and detached from previous eras: Multitudes of directors, Orange ken on the bench, court cases, complete lack of meaningful communication with the fanbase, text a sub, horrendous choices for manager, a complete lack of transparency etc etc are solely at the doorstep of SISU and reason enough to want them out.

One further point that doesn't seem to get debated, which I think is valid, is that the longer SISU are here the greater their proportion of responsiblity for the destruction of our club becomes. Yes they took over a basket case but their actions have failed and they have slowly run us into the ground over 9 years while failing to improve a single aspect of the club. At a certain point we can no longer look back over our shoulders and point at Richardson and McGinnity and by still doing so after this length of time just deflects from the very pressing issue of the present, the focus on needing SISU out.

Another one who generally agrees with what you post, but the last paragraph in which you pretty much state that where we are now is an inevitability post Richardson is absolute hogwash.

Is That the thing where people sing without instrumental accompaniment
Assappela??

Nah, that's the next protest:

Their SISU hits are "STOP" and "Goodbye" ;)

What worries me to think people might think the video will make them go? Does that really warrant an answer.

So you are now saying it's tongue in cheek, glad to see you also think it's light hearted.

What actually is your issue then, it's tongue in cheek and you don't think it will make them go? Its what I said that you have gone into a fit about.

I'm not sure why you need to post like Russell brand, bringing ritual dissection and murder to the fore? What on earth?

What's my agenda? I'm not too fussed about fitting in with a general consensus to be fair. Strangely I don't feel the need to check with others.

Very strange outbursts. You have thrown your toys out because I said it wouldn't make sisu go and it's light hearted but you agree with me.

You still haven't referenced my video from before it was cool either?
Who thinks the video will make them go?
Just like the funeral march. It is not the number that take part it is the message that gets out across and to who.
The funeral march was talked about in London where it mattered all you have to do is distribute it in the right places, and that is whatever hurts Sisu.
The same as with this video.
There are people out there who have the conections to do this.
BTW.
Carol sheets will be available for the match on thursday:)

Even with scripts, those tuneless fuckers couldn't get it right. Sums us up really!
Not about getting it right though is it.
Wouldn't have been as good if they could all sing.
After all we have been singing the SB song since the 60's still get them singing it out of time.:)

Richardson fucked the club up yes !
Did Richardson go purposely out of his way to fuck up the club ?
Have Sisu purposely fucked the club up, have they used ccfc as a pawn to claim compensation for their investors ?
I fully agree with you. Like I said they have done just about everything wrong. But it winds me up when people try to say that Richardson is innocent. He made us homeless and put us seriously in debt. We have never been able to recover from it and need a miracle or very rich owner that wants to throw countless millions at our club.

SISU fucked up big time with the way they dealt with the Ricoh. But otherwise we have been seriously in debt since Richardson. We have not owned our own ground since Richardson. Mainly because we couldn't afford it.

And on the 14th April 2004, had I stumbled into the Royal Oak instead of the Rising sun
I never would have met my wife.

SHIT !!! Never thought of that before :(
