Until the end of the season, for two reasons.
1) We're not getting out of this, Mourinho and Ferguson as joint manager couldn't keep us up, so what's the point ? There's nobody out of work who's going to make any difference now so sack him last day of the season and start again, give someone a whole summer to build a team.
2) Because I don't want to sack Slade and him keep his 100% never relegated record, he's come here and played a shite style of football and doesn't desrerve to have never relegated on his CV.
While I'm here can I please take the opportunity to admit I was wrong, I was one of the biggest callers for Slade to get the job, and on paper honestly thought he would do the business, used to working with limited to no funds, managed to get Orient to a Playoff Final without spending a penny, but I was wrong. He seems to want to not lose more than he wants to win and it's too fucking late for that. Last night was a must win. Why not throw Yakubu on at half time and actually give it a proper go rather than trying his best not to concede, it's too late for that.
Anyway, Wembley is certainly going to be bitter sweet isn't it ? Cracking day out but sat there for 90 minutes with the realisation that this is as good as it's gets for a long, long time.
