I'm thinking overall, think there was an Initial £400k at some point but there's been a fair bit since then. You would assume so, although is an appeal just them going and appealing it to be heard again so does it have a defence?
I'm thinking overall, think there was an Initial £400k at some point but there's been a fair bit since then.
So thinking this chrystalises that?
I reckon after the appeal of Hickinbottoms decision.Didn't some get paid before for the actual JR (not appeal)? Remember some being paid.
I guess there is more to be added on since.
I reckon after the appeal of Hickinbottoms decision.
A spokesman for the council said today: “The council has received the £250,000 in full from Sisu in relation to the council’s legal costs and that satisfies the court order.”
would think that the full amount of costs awarded to CCC have yet to be physically paid over - often sums are paid in to court or lawyers client account whilst appeals continue rather than paid over
Please find where I said that and repeat it here as I do not recall saying that.
lets all go up the City to celibate
go up the City to celibate
Ok ok you know what I ment bloody auto correctSteady on now!
It won't be League 2 or the Conference. It''l be the Coventry & District LeagueAnd now we get to do it all again with JR2. Unless SISU can prove that the Council rejected a much greater bid of theirs - with promises of nearly £13m in further investment like Wasps have supposedly made - is probably also dead in the water and going to be ridiculously drawn out.
So, shall we meet again in 2 years to see how that one went? CCFC will probably be in League 2 or the Conference by then.
They never knew for ober a year after paying it for that long?3) Sisu sought to blame the club’s financial woes on ACL, but the judge said the club sold their right to revenues at the Ricoh Arena “for good consideration”. He also pointed out that when Sisu bought the club they had “full knowledge” of the lack of revenue rights and the contractual commitment to pay ACL £1.3m-a-year in rent.
Anyone still in doubt that SISU knew all along what they "Signed up for" Torchy?
Twat!Sounds like the court issued a statement, this wasn't a hearing.
Best result of the season!
Wasn't it put on hold until this one finished.Has the JR2 'officially' begun?
I only have one reaction to this:
You completely lost me...What??.....Don your lederhosen and have a cheeky left-handed alfresco wank while watching cartoons?
SISU have had a negative impact on mine and the rest of CCFC fans lives, can we sue them? What is JR2?
Sisu have lodged an application to challenge the terms of the deal which saw Premiership rugby club Wasps secure Ricoh Arena firm ACL in October 2014.
Wasps secured 100 per cent of the company by paying the council and Alan Edward Higgs Charity’s £2.77million each for their 50 per cent shares.
The rugby club also paid back the remainder of a £14.4million council loan to ACL and agreed an extension of the lease of the venue from 50 years to 250 years from freehold owners Coventry City Council.
This second legal challenge can get underway now the first judicial review process appears to have ended.
The aim of the legal action is not yet clear but it is likely Sisu would like to see the deal undone or for compensation to be paid for the negative impact on the football club.
................................
That's the exit plan.

Flip me! Ten years of mis-management, crowds halfed, virtually no assets, relegation and struggling in the lower leagues....and THEY go on about negative impact?? We should be suing THEM!........Sisu would like to see the deal undone or for compensation to be paid for the negative impact on the football club.
It can't. If SISU were to somehow win JR2 they would go for compensation for a huge amount. How can the deal be undone?
Yes you can.SISU have had a negative impact on mine and the rest of CCFC fans lives, can we sue them?
Yes you can.
Instead of future protests, lets all sue them together then insteadIt can't. If SISU were to somehow win JR2 they would go for compensation for a huge amount.
Yes you can.
I would say if SISU now push on with this JR2 bullshit and are likely to be still here in 2 years...........attracting players in January for peanuts, falling casual support and a collapse in ST numbers will ensue. They will be able to cut costs further soon and just open the corporate stand or failing that as I think 'Otis' suggested the 4000 capacity at the BPA would be sufficient for their fucked up club whilst they pursue a bit of compo at our expense !
