point me to where Sikhs have committed terrorist attacks in this country?

Show me examples of mass rioting and mob rule mentality by Sikhs in this country?

Google can educate you on Sikh terrorist groups and terror attacks / riots. I don’t have to! Also, I’m not sure I want to given your track record 😂

Worth noting the Sikh population of the UK is relatively small.

Where do you send a refugee to though, back to France?
Back to the country of their birth probably.
If he or she commits a serious crime here why should they stay any more than anyone else I don't care if they'll be persecuted back home. They should have thought about that perhaps before committing the crime.
If they come here for a better life you don't have the right to abuse the laws of this country.

Let's do per capita then.

But why aren't Sikhs overrepresented in prisons?

What about Chinese?

I take your point about systemic racism but in case you didn't notice, the British police doesn't have jurisdiction over the entire western world, and yet wherever there is diversity (which is our greatest strength) the same patterns are apparent.

Could there be...other reasons?

Massive differences in those communities socio-economic backgrounds and / or sheer number living over here. Also, depends how you’re breaking down the communities, is it by religion, country of birth, race? Like there’s shed loads of Muslim Chinese people!

I'm not ashamed to admit I just cried at this

My daughter is 9 and adores Taylor Swift. Often dancing around to her songs, also attends holiday clubs from time to time

Gotten to me this has. I cannot comprehend what those parents are feeling. Their whole world finished in an instant

Our children are no longer safe. There has to be a line drawn somewhere and someway on this whole sorry immigration/mental health/ societal cesspit this country has become

I can understand. I remember the Baby P stuff years ago. My lad was only a toddler then and I was the same.

It's horrific. The utter scum that walk the same streets as us

My concern is, how do you stop this? It's literally impossible to stop someone whether it's in the name of Islam, terrorism, or some mentalist eith a knife that wants to go Rambo how do you stop it?

My kids were born in the 1990s and as parents we worried about loads of stuff and we were far more protective of them than my parents were of me in the 1970s when i'd staying out playing until it was dark .
The internet has changed the world massively. Kids see things that I'd never have thought they'd get to see . It's out of control and I think it's seriously impacting on mental health. The worry is some kids will be effected over a long period of exposure to certain online sites, images, individuals and one day they will just snap and no one will see it coming.
All you can do is be there for them and offer them a positive home environment. Being a parent is always a difficult balance of worry and great pride but something like this knocks you back.

You never could, you never will and you never can. You just have to hope that incidents like this continue to happen so rarely. As CC4Life said, it's heartbreaking.

Its not even like it's gang knife crime. 😔

I doubt the police will ever release the motive.

Don't know anyone who isn't outraged by this?

I'm further right than uncle Adolf mate but even I'm waiting until we actually know what happened here before passing judgement.

My overpowering thoughts are just what those families must be going through. My little one will be going to nursery school and I'm dreading it. Our society, wherever you lie on the political spectrum, is not a healthy one.
Mine starts next week so safe to say not great timing to hear this news(!) These things are still rare however, that's why they're shocking, and as already said security is pretty tight.

Makes you feel ill when you read about stuff like this. What could possibly possess someone to do something so evil? Especially at 17.

I don't know if these kids were outside. I know when my daughter was younger it was hard to get into the actual school but if they are in the playground not so much.

Its a tragic time when prison style fences are needed for little kids to play out 😔

I started a thread about 4 years ago headed something like " London stabbings" . I think there had been a few stabbings in the capital including Croydon and my concern was it was becoming more and more common. Since then it's not only almost a daily occurence but has spread to a national epidemic, with daily stabbings getting mentioned way down the news list just before sport or a cat stuck up a tree. It's not shocking any more. It's part of daily life and just cross your fingers it's not you because no one will stop it and no one is really trying to stop it.

Knife crime in general should be instant prison for anybody carrying one and stop and search allowed.

There's reports of other arrests and a house being raided?

I was the same with the Ariana Grande bombing. But for the tickets selling out there was a very real chance my two then very young daughters would’ve been there. I had been looking at resale a couple of weeks before. The thought of those innocent kids watching their favourite artist at a once in a lifetime gig and that happening. Took me out for the bulk of the day after.

I really don’t know what the answer is here. Was worried sick a couple of weeks ago when my daughter was on a school trip to France as feared the election could spurn some nutcases to rampage. Florida in a few weeks and worry some mass shooting at Disney could happen. It’s extreme situations but really, is it THAT rare these days? Worlds fucked.
