I don't think that's really helpful.

Immigration to the UK is absolutely out of control and has been for some time. I agree with the idea or a proper processing system to help tackle it, but it needs to be taken seriously. It doesn't seem to me that Labour or Tories are doing so.
It’s not going to get easier
Of course it’s out of control the world is going to hell in a handcart with so many millions displaced through war and conflict: The wave coming with eclipse them as people lose land and food and water. We need to be more understanding and generous and recognise we are a human race

The harsh reality is it will be a survival of the fittest and those with better resources

I've always maintained that every country needs to do their bit for genuine refugees. I agree with the sentiment.

The problem is Pete, there are a lot of people coming from places that aren't warzones. I understand why someone would want to better their life, I don't blame them in that regard, but let's not confuse those with people who are genuinely in need, and that we should be helping.

I strongly believe you would see more compassion towards those that need the help if we didn't have so many chancers.

Yes, all those fit young men leaving the women and children behind.

They want a better life for themselves and vast majority want to find work. Multi national tax dodging big business and crime gangs exploit these people in so many ways yet politically we do relatively little to tackle the main perpetrators. Then we interfere in Israel and their government make us more vulnerable to radicalism. We know the problem lies with politicians and a few crazy radicals of Islam or UKIP/REFORM/Conservative & Unionist Party and far left ...... ALL need rooting out.

A Turk with some dinghies has been arrested. Not a silver bullet according to Sir Keir. How many are waiting in line to take up the market opportunity created?

It is demand that needs addressing, not supply.

If you were going to make an incredibly perilous journey to start a new life for your family do you:

A) do it alone, and bring them over once you have settled
B) chuck your wife and young kids on a crowded dinghy in the middle of the Channel

How long before they are settled? And why have some of them I pretended to be 13? Can hardly ask to bring your 10 year old over later.

Impossible to get an NHS dentist in Rugby so i go to Stoke Aldermoor dental clinic (part of Bhandals group) they always ask me if i pay for my treatment (which i do,uk pensioner's don't get free treatment)... trust me I'm out of that dental chair in record time on every visit 😂.
A bit old to still be frightened of needles isn't it?

So they’d let the children and wife stay when their lives are under threat?

I don't think you've really thought this through.

I can say something as I will not have the Old Bill knocking on my door at 4 am.

Seems the father was up to his what’s it’s in the Rwandan Genocide and Kier was involved in making sure he was not returned to face justice.
