I went to Carlisle too. It was in between Christmas and New Year if i remember. 5.30 train from Cov station and didn’t get back to Cov until about Midnight last train from New Street. Long old day but a good one with happy memories. Think we missed a penalty but still wonI can get on board with that
Luton in League Two was ace, we battered them I thought we were a shoe in for a title walking out of that game
Had my 18th Birthday at Carlisle away over Xmas so I'll always have a soft spot for there
You'll get no argument there. 3rd world though?Compared to Bristol it’s a dump. The city centre is desperate.

For what its worth I think Cov is a millions times better than it used to be. I think the centre looks good nowadays.

If Some People Think the Cov City Centre is Bad, have a Look the Leicester City Centre.
Anywhere alone! Sorry just begging for it that was!Or Stoke, Wolverhampton, Bradford, Hull, Middlesbrough, Sunderland etc.
Unfair comparison. Bristol is a relatively wealthy and significantly bigger city than Coventry. It too has it's bad parts.
Coventry is far better than many major towns and cities in this country.
Once the City Centre South area is knocked down, Coventry will have one of the highest occupancy rates of shops in the country. There are very few empty units outside the area which is ready for demolition.
If you go anywhere else, nearly half the high street is abandoned and boarded up.
Little unknown place called Messigio’s. It’s got a bit of an edgewhat has Coventry actually got? Primark and what else? Fosse park is fantastic and even the centre has a John Lewis. Nottingham is vibrant, Exeter and Bath excellent. What would ever encourage you to go into the city centre?
Spoons cheap alewhat has Coventry actually got? Primark and what else? Fosse park is fantastic and even the centre has a John Lewis. Nottingham is vibrant, Exeter and Bath excellent. What would ever encourage you to go into the city centre?
many would say league 2 days were great in terms of days out , the old school feel of the grounds. football was poor as was everything behind the scenes but we felt as one. we pulled together. going to Fleetwood on a Tuesday night separated the die hards from the day trippers
I had great memories from L2 and L1. some bad ones too like Forest Green but we as a fan base would still be there. the time between 2007 and 2017 was the worse experience for me and most of them years we were in the championship. same teams and grounds on a yearly basis and the football was just as bad

Before you go in then? You aren’t supposed to take food in to the arena though.
Yeah club have blown the chance of a full house for this one - 20 - 23,000 tops and that's factoring in 6000 spuds.£30 for ST holder and £37 for Non ST Holders
Thought this would be an easy full house but I am not too sure now...
The Herbert Art Gallery, the transport museum, the wave, two cathedrals, the guildhall, numerous other beautiful old buildings…….Its far from perfect but not without hope and there are still some nice little quaint old haunts for a pint.what has Coventry actually got? Don't forget War Memorial Park - A fantastic open space. The Herbert Art Gallery, the transport museum, the wave, two cathedrals, the guildhall, numerous other beautiful old buildings…….Its far from perfect but not without hope and there are still some nice little quaint old haunts for a pint.
We'll sell out and haven't we only given Spurs 3000?Yeah club have blown the chance of a full house for this one - 20 - 23,000 tops and that's factoring in 6000 spuds.
Thought the C'ship policy of 3000 max away supporters may have been relaxed for the cup. We'll sell out and haven't we only given Spurs 3000?

The Old Windmill, Spon St.
The Golden Cross, Hay Lane.
Tbh, I can see Spurs putting a decent side outI'm thinking of giving this a miss now.
Chances are Spurs will play a weakened team due to the Arsenal fixture, but will probably still beat us. Midweek, nights drawing in, on TV - £37. Not feeling it.
You'd expect it to still get a decent attendance, though it will go to general sale and I expect a fair few people who've never gone before will buy tickets because it's Spurs. We've not had a big name at the stadium for years and the last time queues for tickets were around the block.
I understand the issue with kids prices, but I think King will be thinking a lot probably wouldn't be going on a school night regardless so making tickets cheaper isn't going to make a huge difference on attendance. I'd be surprised if he wasn't trying to suspend the FZ for this one off match to sell as many tickets as possible at the highest price.
Also surprised he's discounted ST holders - surely the benefit of that is getting priority to book. You get your financial benefits from the. ST in the league games
I think the extra 3000 spuds might struggle to get a ticket as i doubt they have 200+ loyalty points.Yeah club have blown the chance of a full house for this one - 20 - 23,000 tops and that's factoring in 6000 spuds.
we must be kidding ourselves if we think Cov centre is good
we are top 10 biggest cities in England
the place should be thriving but it’s not
lack of pubs and bars
shops are shocking
its full of crack heads begging for money
most people dont bother with town now
I'm thinking of giving this a miss now.

Agree. Same with Newcastle, did you see the way they celebrated after beating Forest in the previous round. It was like they had won the cup. This is a big game for Spurs. They are desperate for a trophy.
Was hoping to move to the safe standing for this one but the club have weirdly said you can only buy your own seat for this game but if you want to move you have to wait till Tuesday when seats are released (even though there are empty seats in blocks 12 & 11) and pay an extra £7
Another flaw is having to buy every single ticket individually in each account. It just took me nearly 15 mins logging in and out of my Families 4 accounts and putting the credit card details in every time. It must be possible as we do it for away games its just when they reserve your ST in your account. It's a bit of a flaw unfortunately. Should allow ST holders to move at the same price.
You can if you link the accounts. Believe it needs to be on the "manage" option rather than just assign.Another flaw is having to buy every single ticket individually in each account.
