To be fair, while I don’t think the ST price is too far out of what I expected, the kid price seems unreasonable high. We could of easily won some good grace and said kid ST go free when a adult ticket ST is bought.

Worried to be fair over how much fans get rinised these days over the kits, tickets and even price of food in stadiums.

Don’t think this will change here unless we adopt the 49% - 51% split in football as can’t expect fans to give up on it. Just due to how important football clubs are to people

You're dying on a weird hill here. People have an issue with what feels like price gouging. Tickets for this are 66% more expensive for kids than normal for a competition most don't give a f*ck about and for which we normally put out a second XI. What's your issue with fans questioning that?

Chances are Spurs will play a weakened team due to the Arsenal fixture, but will probably still beat us. Midweek, nights drawing in, on TV - £37. Not feeling it.

You'd expect it to still get a decent attendance, though it will go to general sale and I expect a fair few people who've never gone before will buy tickets because it's Spurs. We've not had a big name at the stadium for years and the last time queues for tickets were around the block.

I understand the issue with kids prices, but I think King will be thinking a lot probably wouldn't be going on a school night regardless so making tickets cheaper isn't going to make a huge difference on attendance. I'd be surprised if he wasn't trying to suspend the FZ for this one off match to sell as many tickets as possible at the highest price.

Also surprised he's discounted ST holders - surely the benefit of that is getting priority to book. You get your financial benefits from the. ST in the league games

In all honesty I have no problem season tickets benefitting from nice early bird deals. I just don't see why they should also get cheaper deals in the cup. The season ticket holders hardly turned up in force for the Oxford game in the last round after all!

I can’t commit to going to away games every week. That doesn’t mean I oppose those who do getting higher priority for away tickets.

1) I think its great we have so many season ticket holders. Having over 20,000 commit to it has undoubtedly been one of the factors in the upward vibes around the club.
2) In return those season ticket holders get a significant discount on match tickets amounting to approximately £250 over a season. Again, given that commitment, and the positive affect on the club as a whole, that discount is justified.
3) The cups are different though. Many season ticket holders don't bother going to the non glamorous games, and for that reason I don't see why they should get a discount when we do get a glamour tie. Sure I read on here that Spurs fans have to be charged the £30 rate in line with that discounted price too? Seems unfair to me that our non season ticket holders should pay more than the Spurs fans. To my mind it should have been £35 across the board for 'all' adults.

it’s amazing how many season ticket holders couldn’t find the time or money a few years ago and now can. Regardless if it’s a benefit for loyalty what’s your problem?

What I don't agree with is them getting further discounted tickets in cup competitions over and above other supporters, particularly when they have not been shown to commit to buying tickets in earlier rounds. If we had over 20,000 turn up for the Oxford cup game then obviously there would be more of a case for rewarding season ticket holders with a cup discount too but that wasn't the case.

I can kind of get the point really, probably 10k season ticket holders didn't get to that one, but then it's another dividing line in economic arguments that are occurring more regularly which I don't think is a good thing for everybody?

and they are. It's massively cheaper per match. Don't buy the argument it should entitle them to discounts on games they had no clue would happen when they paid for their season ticket. Some are making out like they made a donation. Let's not overdo it.

It's a way to reward financial loyalty to the club. Tell you what, as neither me or my wife are going, we'll buy them at £30 and you can have them at face value...

When I don't have an issue, I don't post. You keep responding to people which is a pretty strong sign you've got a point to make, and the issue people have was with U18s prices unless someone can show me otherwise.
