Regarding numbers. In 1978 at the World Cup, the Argentina squad were numbered from alphabetically. Hence there was a number 1 playing outfield.
The egos of some players regarding their squad number just seems a bit ridiculous at times.

I recently had to pick numbers for players for our new under 10s kits... the egos exist there too... not the players, but the dads
