Hard not to worry what potentially 5 years playing in front of smaller crowds with limited revenue streams will do to the club. Hopefully we can stabilize in the Championship and move into a new ground as a Championship club but only time will tell.

Wasps have made any return financially impossible for us. Fans need to realise the Ricoh is not an option for us anymore. We will make better revenues at St Andrews than we ever will at the Ricoh as long as Wasps are running the show.

We have to support Robins and the boys I’m the Championship. Hopefully more fans will go to St Andrews.

The reality is th
Shame the issue hasn't been sorted but we're more than happy to have you back at ST Andrews, really hope you do well next season. Thought your fans were very classy last season during our cup tie and over the course of your games at ST Andrews. You'll no doubt finish above us next season as well haha.

All the best over the break folks!
What's the Roost like with social distancing ?

I'm not fussed by this. I'm actually glad we are standing up to Wasps and the Council.

Hopefully more people this time will start realising there are other guilty parties.

doubtful with the amount of people on twitter saying “don’t care who’s to blame, it’s a joke we’re not playing in Cov. Won’t be getting my support”

Heart sank a little bit when I read the statement but so be it. I’ll be there. Against all odds again, we have a team, manager and fan base to be proud of so let’s get up there and show the Championship we are a force to be reckoned with

If our plan is to play in Birmingham until a new stadium is agreed and built, then I'm not sure we'll survive it. Easy to put a brave face on this when we've just won the league, but if we spend all year getting smashed at St Andrew's, it's going to get pretty bleak pretty fast.

Worst of all, we're preventing thousands more potential new fans from watching the best City team in a decade. Just fucking miserable all round.

Agreed but i think there will be a clamour for something tangible before many will commit to following the team to Birmingham, more people will be able to forget the Ricoh if the club can do this.
That's always been the way though.

20 miles doesn't prevent anybody watching city... It's an inconvenience that you either choose to overcome or not

Gutting. Wsnted tonsee chsmpionship footy back in cov

We need Warwick plans to be real

And wasps to continue losing money

Council csnt be allowed win this 1 when it's all said and done
Warwick plans are not real. More SISU rubbish. Sec of state has called in the proposed access road off the A46 that this stadium would need, Poor old SISU, their plans would be scuppered by this. They’re still after the Ricoh. CCFC are collateral damage.

I can't say that I expected anything else. We all know who this third party the statement refers to is.

I really hope this stadium at the University comes to fruition. We badly, badly need it. The Ricoh just isn't going to be a viable option, It seems.

I like it at St Andrews but my biggest concern is that some clubs have large followings at Championship level and as last year we'll accommodate whatever theu can sell, so could be many games where nearly as many away fans as home fans.

for me personally, St. Andrews is still a far better day out than the Ricoh so from that point of view I don't mind but i wanted us in Cov and we should be in Cov, it's fucking gutting.
Better day out sure but not an easier one imo which means less days out for most fabs in long run

Do we think our local media are still going to try and deny the indemnity exists?

You would think the pricks like Linnell and Turner would hang their heads in shame, the club should ban them from entering any games.

Could take a long time and is not guaranteed. Imagine they found new owners with cash. I know doesn't happen too much in rugby but it would scupper any hopes we have

Can cov council stop the new ground at Warwick uni?
Depends how much they pay Warwick probably but I doubt it very much if we get it ready 5 years then let’s sit it out fuck the Ricoh

Ridiculous

You just admitted its an inconvenience. So there r gonna be kids out there who would like to go but maybe their parents or friends parents dont go anymore

Wether u think the adults are wrong or not you can't say some young fans wont miss out

Also lets not fuking have st donation threads same time as saying traveling to another city to watch games is only a minor inconvience. Clearly money and job working hours etc are not an issue to watch cov so fuck the donation thread too!

All I'm saying is, it doesn't stop people going.. It's an inconvenience

If their parents choose not to take the kid, it's because they choose not to go and THAT is what prevented the kid watching city.
