Might not be a bad thing for us if it is cancelled. Another week of training, might get the Sheaf situation resolved or at least get him back fit and then can start the season with a kind home game vs Oxford…

There will be a counter to what’s happened in Birmingham tonight, then another counter to that and so on and so forth

Don’t see this ending any time soon and if the police are the slightest bit overran with what’s happening they’ll knock the football on the head
Football is a useful distraction for these people for a day at least. If nothing else, the mix of backgrounds in the crowd will be an important reminder of people having more in common.

Sorry mate but you are absolutely dreaming

If there is absolutely anything of the like we have seen over past few days in the pipeline this coming weekend there’s no chance anyone will be watching any football in my honest opinion

I may be idealistic and naive but I’m pretty confident we’ll be playing Saturday.

The football kicks off at 12-30. The riots start around 8pm, so there's plenty of time for plod to attend both events. 👍
We were hoping to sample some of Stoke’s culinary delights after the game so hopefully that’s permitted by the riot co-ordinator.

You should be fine if you stick to fish and chips, but I'd avoid the Chinese. The kebab shop and Indian takeaway if I were you 🤣🤣🤣

We often get fish and chips when we visit her family over there but they do this odd thing of buttering a loaf of bread and turning the whole meal into sandwiches.

I assume it’s a weird Stoke thing

I think you need more than a few hundred half wits throwing stuff at the police to stop the football next weekend.

So Don’t think there’s any need to worry…Let's all go to the Power League sports club have a nice cold pint, and wait for this all to blow over before 3pm kick off.

It’s not just that though is it

You’ve had people attempting to torch hotels with people inside and the trashing and looting of shops and local businesses

Buzzing for this. 4:30am wake up is bullshit though, usually at 7am it’s perfect.
Need to get my iFollow sorted!

Looks like I’m going to miss at least the start of this. Anyone know any way to rewind/watch it later?

Think I’d go:

Dovin
MvE Thomas Binks Bidwell
Torp Eccles Rudoni
Saka Simms EMC

S: Collins, Lats, Dasilva, Kitching, Sheaf, Allen, Palmer, Wright, BTA
Got to be this.
Look at that bench, we would have absolutely dreamt of that a couple years back. In fact even last year they were all starters, mental

I agree but his reaction and branding everyone far right who dares speak out about mass immigration has fuelled this. The public see him as taking one side a long with their clear intent of scrapping any control on illegal immigrationQ has just caused this to escalate. Its those police officers taking the brunt on the front line for politicians incompetence that I feel sorry for
Muslims don’t think he’s on their side at all

If Wright is not on the pitch and we get a penalty, who would you like to take it?

i think I’d go for Rudoni. Would like to hear what others think.

Hope the team has incorporated practicing penalty kicks into their training.

Fair shout - still play sheaf if he’s trained, he’s dropped straight in before get good 60/70 from him.

Burroughs for kitching who’s banned.
