Allen hasn’t been fit for much of last season. He was almost the first name on the team sheet the previous season - once sheaf is fit there will be a lot of competition for places.

I like Allen, only concern is that Torp & Allen don't give as much cover defensively as Eccles.

I agree, which is why I said I would start with Allen and Eccles even though I really like Torp as well. I’m sure they will all get some good game time this year with substitutions and squad rotation.

Glad Bidwell is captain, he deserves it. Slightly worried about midfield, but looking at the subs bench, we really do have players to turn the game round if needed
