Long term injuries aren’t they?Nice for them to be at full strength for the rescheduled fixture. Spineless from EFL

Don't get the conspiracy theories here. Their injured players, with the exception of Sawyers, have already been out for weeks & some such as Souttar are long term

It's a good excuse for them though now to get a tricky away game called off.
Has it been confirmed how many of their players are unavailable, if not then there is no way of knowing if the new rule is meaningless at this point? Not a conspiracy but an unavoidable fact. The rules just published today are meaningless
Stop with the logic and get angry about it!Don't get the conspiracy theories here. Their injured players, with the exception of Sawyers, have already been out for weeks & some such as Souttar are long term

To what end? The fixture will be rearranged for a midweek where all these players will likely still be injured anyway.
It's a good excuse for them though now to get a tricky away game called off.
Yes, as we all remember, this strategy worked wonders for Rotherham last year, who didn't suffer any problems at all as a result of all the postponements they managed to engineer.
They can players back, it won't be played until next month now
they have not got up to 20 players out
How many games have we called off due to this virus? as far as I remember, it's other teams cancelling not us, even right back to last year. does that mean we're more careful over training and testing our players.
Doesn't work out well for us either. You'd rather have points on the board than games in hand.
We don’t have any cases in the first team (confirmed on the statement). Can’t we play against another team that have also been let down by their opponent so it’s one less fixture to cram in down the line.
Not sure how it would work but there will likely be other teams like us sat there on Saturday when we could be playing each other.
But the injured players you're referring to are mostly out until February/March. What's to stop them picking up more injuries in the meantime too?
I get we're all frustrated but the conspiracy theories don't hold much weight.

But they will have the covid players back. they have 14 players and as per the rules it should be played
So Stoke saw what Rotherham did last season and thought "Yeah, screw fixture congestion, this is the way to rack up points", before scanning the fixture list and working out which games they might want to sack off?
There is a much simpler explanation here, it's just in some people's ultra-competitive nature as fans to ignore it for a more fun narrative.
For it not to be they'd need a good 15+ players out.
