Powell back from injury and likely to be on the bench for them tonight

A bit bothered about Ian Wright's grandson. He looks a fantastic prospect. Hoping they rest him. Expecting a narrow defeat, but also expecting us to go on a decent run after the Cup game. You heard it here first!
Hopefully he plays more like uncle Bradley rather than his Dad or Grandad. Saying that, I'm sure I've seen BWP score against us at least once.

He's done well there , but means very little as it's a poor standard

Yes, you are right.

Just checked his stats. Scored 108 goals in 195 appearances over 6 years at New York Red Bulls.

Last season played at Columbus Crew (where Chris Birchall played). 21 appearances and just 1 goal.

Be disappointed if it’s below 15000 home fans that seems to have become our regulars now, add couple of thousand Stoke so 17000 would be decent for mid-week and the second of two games within a week.

I don´t think we can really complain. We have won 3 games in as many months, and this is 30 quid a ticket.

The football and results market themselves, and we have been shite.

We'll do well to get over 15k home fans. £30 on a Tuesday night and it's bloody freezing will keep a lot of people away.

Can't help think we need to change some things tonight, despite the excellent performance on Saturday. O'Neil will try to stop us playing and use their physical edge. Bidwell & J.Jones in for Allen & Shipley for me.

Bidwell looked lost Saturday.

Granted I know he needs to regain fitness etc, but our left side went to shit and he was t fault for Adomah getting in for the winner

Shipley has to start if fit ( cannot belive I've said this twice in 2 days)

Resukts maybe - although we've beaten Derby in the Cup, thrashed Posh and played brilliantly, lost to QPR and played really well, so in my eyes the football for the last 3 games has been a 7/10 a 9/10 and 8/10. Think people are just looking at the league table and getting a bit down. Said on another post, I think we'll have a good run after the Saints cup game. Home to Blackpool, away at Reading and Cardiff, then Barnsley (h) Bristol City (a) and PNE at home. Can see us potentially picking up again during that period. Any sort of positive results over the next 2 games I'll be happy with. Just want the players to keep playing positive stuff.

It would most likely be Waghorn in for Allen. Has Jones played a total of 90 minutes yet in the league?

Is the match on ifollow or sky red button tonight ? That normally impacts the crowd numbers too

Came on to see the answer to this very question. I checked the Telegraph and they say nothing about the red button, like they normally would. I always thought Sky had access to midweek Championship games (Tuesday and Wednesday only). Seem to remember Milwall at home (Wed 29th Dec) wasn't on TV. Seems like this one as well....

It’s technically a Saturday game as that was the original date so Saturday rules apply.

Anyone actually going to confirm Kanes out and why? Or we just going to have another fucking Godden debacle?

Think one or two were carrying knocks/niggles on Saturday
With this game coming so soon afterwards they may not be risked
And fingers crossed no more dreaded covid cases in the meantime

Has the petulant Brazilian been sent off yet this season? Stoke 5/2 kerching.
