Not sure about Cashman, he’s 21 and not making the squad for Rochdale in League 2. Robins in the interview he did sounds like he’s never met him which isn’t encouraging
Had good comments when signed but another little fella I believe if so got to be top notch in this league.

Goddens scoring rate if fit over the season is about 26 goals this season.
Viktor Gyökeres is about 16 goals, but if you take out the goal drought when he got inured then i see about 23 goals for the season.
The big question is, can MR get them to play together as they are both goal scores when played seperalely.
Playing and scoring together that is a 50 goal striker partnership, If we can keep them both and MR can find a way to play them both in the same team, with no/less key injuries next season we could be well up for promotion.
They don't really play well together, they both like to play in similar space. No coincidence that vik has looked far more dangerous and started scoring again since Godden has been injured. I believe it is something like 3 in 10 when starting with godden and 9 in 19 without him.

Its nice to have 2 potential 20 goal a season strikers but unfortunately they don't seem that compatible.

I am not sure about that. I think the reason Gyokeres stopped scoring was the injury from the Blackburn match. I think we should have rested him after that, as he didn't look fully fit for weeks.

Godden and Gyokeres played well together against Fulham. Walker and Godden doesn't work but I think Gyokeres and Godden is worth trying when both fully fit.

I think he deserves enormous credit but also there’s stuff I think how hard can it be . I do know he works his socks off many many hours a week for my club

In the end all Boddy does is deliver the message regarding big decisions

He deserves no credit for returning as unless Seppalla says yes it’s no. In the end he peddles the message and takes his reward - if we stayed for 5 years away he’d be delivering the message

Anderson clearly is the only one who didn’t go on message and off he went

How do you know so much and not get much of it correct?

So Boddy had the final decision over the move back from Birmingham and Seppalla didn’t sign it off?

I tend to agree, there is no way such a big call would not be made by Seppalla. Boddy may have been a competent water carrier, but I suspect that was the extent of his involvement.

Well we don’t know much for definite but one thing we do is that the two owners didn’t do any of the talking

So a director or the head fund manager didn’t sign it off?

It’s literally absurd logic to suggest otherwise

Course she agreed the parameters of the deal that was negotiated by all parties. Obviously boddy led the ccfc negotiating team. Insanity to not understand that

I asked who had the power - not the dogsbody doing the grimble

You have absolutely no idea. Sandra Garlick leading on contracts says it all

he said she does most of the player contracts - not leading on them - she I assume will draw the contracts up won’t she?

Fuck all waste of a loan

To be honest I thought we should have pulled him back in January seeming as we were short of a striker so it could release Taveres to the bench in the 1st Team but they seem to be managing to make it work anyways.
Either that or look for another club to loan him to

Rose has a very busy agent
He really does. Echoes of all the talk of Leeds in for him last time his contract was running down. Was a similar story with Zain Westbrooke. Notice that John Dawkins is very vocal on twitter promoting Rose. He was also the same with Westbrooke.

Big,big summer coming up, probably one of the most important in years for the club. If we finish strongly and end up in the top 10 or just outside most of us if honest will say it's been a success. However MR will want to improve again next season and to do so will need to fight a bit with the owners to get more assurances and investment to extend contracts, bring in better quality and to stop other clubs from stealing our better players on the cheap.

He will also have to work hard in getting those that the club have outgrown off the books. Which I'm sure will be a priority from the owners before incomings or budgets are discussed. Players like O hare, Hamer, Vik and Rose will gain interest and 1 may have to go to allow MR the ability to bring in a few quality signings.

It's not new or would be a shock if that's the outcome. We have plenty of money we can trim off the current budget and I can see up to 12 players being shown the door. But MR will also know the nucleus of this squad need to be kept together for progression to carry on. It's going to be an interesting time and I'm sure it will show what the club are about or want from it come the start of the new seàson

Yes Rose is just about okay at this level, I’d have him ahead of Hyam personally but the manager doesn’t agree.

Premier League clubs tussling for a Championship clubs fourth choice centre half doesn’t sound likely on the face of it

Most of the players Dawkins gets friendly with and pushes seem to end up out of the club shortly after!

clearly wants a new contract after finally managing to put some sort of a run of games together. Is a good player and technically better than Hyam but needs to be a lot more consistent which is the reason Hyam is ahead of him

Probably not the best way to go about it…one minute Westbrooke was “heading” to Leeds only to turn up at Bristol Rovers

12 players being shown the door? We’d have about 5 left!
