He's always looked good to me when we've played them, I even specifically remarked as such either on here or IRL after the game up there. I think it's a reasonable question though about whether or not he's a material improvement.

Surprised all the linked players so far are from Championship though, expected us to get players from abroad again.

To be honest, even if we made the switch to a ‘flatter’ 433 I’d still want an AM in the squad to change the dynamic of our play when required. Whether that’s Palmer, Rudoni or someone else is the interesting bit.

Good point, McCallum and Browne would make strong free agent signings. As for Dolan and Rudoni, I’d like to know potential fees involved for them and are they our ‘top targets’.
