I'm cool with this, was a position we needed and all the defenders will come back with a years more experience under their belts.

Was hoping we’d get Binks on a permanent. Sure Robins will want to switch formations this season and he gives us that 2nd left sided CB.

Plays for the badge, Binks. Love this signing, and love the long term contract, he will prove to be an asset. Still very young and provides a different dimension with his on ball skills than what we currently have at the back, and a left footer. This type of signing was a necessity and I’m buzzing that it’s ended up being Binks. Only thing that made me think twice about him was the potential fee/wage however knowing King’s reputation I doubt that is an issue. Get the fuck in Luis.

For a 22 year old , his stats are very good against other centre halves and he will only improve View attachment 36279

Very fair, I think he’ll be good in time and owning him is probably good for us long term. I was hoping for a more “exciting” signing as the first one but it’s probably more important to have serious signings than exciting ones.

My one concern is this notion that our defence will somehow be drastically improved this season just by “gelling”, which yeah fair enough could happen but I’m still not convinced about Kitching and we really could do with a better LB than Bidwell or JDS. We really need to concede less shitty goals this season.
