Second thoughts on some due to Vik possibly staying at Sporting!?

This is my concern tbh

I stated ages ago that we were looking forward to a Vik move to bankroll the window, but wrote it off as codswallop because that would just be stupid to base your window on that or a Sheaf bid......

Agree his peak is now - this would be his biggest contract - big risk to gamble another season in sporting.

the club will know what’s going on however I’m sure on that front.

be handy if hamer went sharpish also.
Get a feeling they'll both piss off at the end of the window so we probably shouldn't base our summer strategy around it.

No panic yet still time to make things happen and still have players we have that really can be moved on. Im sure multiple deals are in the works it just takes time.

As others said. I’d be shocked if plan A was solely based on Vik:Gus going as that would have been silly.

imagine there was plan A then plan A+ if they both went in this window.

Hopefully plan A+ is make 1 absolutely killer signing just before deadline day if those 2 leave.

What is it with this trend of posting player names on the forum as if to hint at an ITK incoming and then not following it up ???

If you think you know something say it, we all know not every deal comes off …..

Wish we'd look at Michał Helik. International experience and was decent at Huddersfield last year. Can't imagine he would cost much and would give us a major threat at set pieces.
Think you might be underestimating the cost tbh. Doubt they would let him go cheap as i imagine most of the championhip would want him if available.

It’s a game of opinion is isn’t it but honestly when I saw him last year I honestly could not understand how the bloke was a professional footballer. One of the clumsiest people I’ve ever seen

not true, having money from a Vik move is plan B. They have not planned this window expecting to have money from a transfer that has not happened yet.

Randomly I did notice a tweet from a Coventry fan yesterday saying they had heard Daniel Jebbison had been shown round Ryton. The tweet then disappeared. Probably nonsense

Will go on to be a very good striker for someone in my opinion. Probably needs a full season in League 1 or a lower Championship side for his development.

Wouldn’t be against him as our bench option for sure. Hes wanted by some decent clubs but assume they would just put him in the development squad
