We haven't had a bad window at all even if it ends like we are today. I know there are positions we'd like more in but gone are the days of knee jerk signing shit just to fill a gap we are only going for quality!

Some of you need to get a grip

a) There is still a decent enough chance we sign a midfielder
b) If we don't we still have a really fucking good team

there's some performative behaviour from some of you today

We’ve got good players in certain positions, but I wouldn’t say we’re a good team. We are desperately lacking in CM.

We’ve had 3 windows to sort the midfield out now, and still haven’t. Can’t say I’ve got confidence it will be done in the next 7 or so hours.

No chance of top 6 if Sheaf gets injured. I’d go as far as saying outside chance if he does stay fit. Our midfield is piss poor.
We have spent serious money on Torp and Rudoni. You are clearly not a member of the 'In Robins we trust' group?

No we are not lacking a CM for the first XI

When Sheaf plays the midfield is good, Torp looks a much better player when Sheaf is there.

We are lacking quality depth though but the first XI when fit are a top 6 team.

I am not naive enough to think that Robins has 100% control on what happens with transfers anymore. So while I trust MR 100%, not sure it is relevant.

Also, not sure the Torp fee was that serious was it?

Having failed to get either Browne or Stamenic, it is reasonable to assume that a CDM is top of the list. The failure to find anyone since the Stamenic debacle implies it is very hard to find the right person/right price etc etc.I suspect they are still at it, as we have have not had the usual announcement, but it looks like the chances are slim of getting someone in

I don't know but I would be staggered if Robins did not have sign off on major purchases

If Palmer goes and no-one else comes in then our squad would basically be no bigger than last season, when Robins spent months moaning about lack of depth. I’d make it that we’re two player better off in terms of first team numbers, and that’s if you can count Raphael as first team seeing as we’ve seen nothing of him yet.

Moore out, Dovin in
O’Hare out, Rudoni in
Binks out, Binks in
Godden out, BTA in
Palmer out, Bassette in
No-one out, EMC in
No-one out, Raphael in.

Attack improved massively but the rest of the squad is essentially the same as last years bar for a change in goal.

I wish people would shut the fuck up with all the bedwetter nonsense to be honest. If you’re happy to have shit teams like Stoke cut through our midfield with ease then good for you. If Sheaf gets injured then the midfield is fucked
And yet we only lost once in 5 since he has been out of the side.....

Wish you’d pipe down as well. All you do is have a go at everyone else, even when you’re wrong which is most of the time. You could argue with your own shadow

Are you drunk?

So Rudoni , Sheaf , Torp , Eccles and Allen means we are " desperately " light ?
Ridiculous!
We are short of a central midfielder but why the sensational trope ?
Pathetic
Plenty of cover, plenty of options, but very light on quality.
Sheaf and Rudini aside, the rest are average at best. When all are fit we are decent enough, but loose Sheaf or Rudoni and we are struggling.

I've thought that EMC could do a job as AM if given a chance. But a quality addition would be welcome.
