Sunderland crowd.. (3 Viewers)

Perhaps we should all wait and see what the Huddersfield attendance will be?

If it’s higher than the Sunderland game then that would suggest tickets are too expensive.

If it’s lower or equal then it would suggest tickets are priced correctly

It's a night match

It's a Monday and on Sky so that'll depress the sales.

What's the next Cat C after that as that will be a better comparison?
There's only 3/4 more all season

Just looked and they are all midweek / Friday games

Very clever if I do day so 🙄

All Saturday matches are B /A

That’s pretty good pricing strategy though isn’t it to be fair. I think the adult pricing is really a red herring. I think £37 is an odd price and I’d have made it £35 but it’s the child pricing that’s the only issue

You’d expect a cheaper price for midweek games

The children pricing, certainly for away fans, is a mistake. But I doubt anything can be changed until next season.
I pay for my daughter and her bloke to go. I personally won’t stretch that to £37 a pop.

For Pete’s sake will people stop saying kids prices are £25, they are not. JSB’s U14 are £15. Are the 14-U18 a little high, yes.

Come on, mate. £25 to take a 10 year old to a Championship game is f*cking lunacy. Lots of things have been done well, match day prices for kids aren't one of them.
I totally agree - if you ignore the family friendly offersings.

Match day prices weren't known while the Family Zone tickets were on sale. People weren't able to make an informed choice.

Kids season tickets were reduced after a backlash. Let's not pretend they got that right. At least they listened to feedback.

JSB memberships are only worth it after at least 6 games. Pricing out people who go to less than 10 games a season feels sh*t.

Season ticket isn't an option, unless you'd support me buying three in the Family Zone and two being empty most of the time.

How much does a 10 year old cost if they aren't a JSB tomorrow
£25.

Thats why its better to buy a JSB member for access to cheaper tickets. They also become a member of hopefully their lifelong club with a gift pack due in due course. If you dont foresee them wanting or able to go to many games then why not pick a cat B or C fixture.

Or you could have bought a kids season ticket for £50 for the whole season. Judging by the amount of empty seats in the JSB section last game it looks like many did even though they wont be attending all games, it was a no brainer.

How about someone impromptu just deciding to attend a game?

Funny how all these people only have an impromptu urge to go to Cat A games

Well a child is most likely to go on a Saturday so its A or B - a 7 year old at £25 or £20 is idiotic and not comparable to other clubs in the division

But we’re talking about the people who go to one off games.
The way some are carrying on here it’s like loyal supporters are being bled dry every week.
Customer loyalty pays. Those who go regularly can get a JSB membership

As a strategy for juniors it’s totally out of step with all clubs in the division - fact or false?

Doensnt it depend what they're strategising, if we're heading for the prem would they not prefer adult bums on seats and if not then to give them away won't wash anymore?

As mentioned above the best thing they can do is put U14s in line with JSB price. Send JSB’s an additional voucher or two to keep them sweet. Aways U14s can then also be charged at JSB price.

Yeah they are the ones getting hit with the £25. Surely any parent wouldn’t mind paying £50 for their kid to have a JSB membership it’s a couple of takeaways a year. I really think this big argument is literally for a handful of people.

The club can’t please everyone all the time, some decisions they will get wrong some will be right.

On the whole it’s being run at a different level than before. Sisu wouldn’t have got what Dough did for vik and gus and they wouldnt have invested it back in. I’d imagine it’s nightmare for Doug to get his head around everything straight away and get it perfectly right he has his own business to run too. I think we should be grateful of his ambition for us. They must read this forum and see Cov fans constantly moaning about everything.

Don’t see many threads if any applauding the direction the club is going that’s the main thing.

Fact. I happen to agree with you.

I'm just finding it amusing some of the comments on here. Its like Doug King emptied a huge sack of Sky Blue Sam's sh*t all over their little darlings

Cool. I'll tell my two that you're getting a LOL from me not being able to afford to take them as much this season.

Why are you arguing for the sake of arguing , the entire thread has been pretty much about how kids prices are not good .. not sure why you've argued all the way if you agree they are shit ?

And an adult is capable of planning in advance. Anyone that short on cash won’t be rocking up for a day out with no planning anyway.

We’re talking about an absolutely tiny number of people, if any at all that this really disadvantages. Even the loudest about it on the forum admit it doesn’t affect them. Just getting offended on behalf of an imaginary third party.
