Yup, that's where I am.Last night I think there were some truths, some half-truths, some embellishment and revisionism. Still, to be fair it's lanced the boil and the anger seems to have dissipated, so he succeded there. We just all need to move on and get the best head coach we can.
Why do you?Carr done the same press conference? So what does tell you?
why do you think he done it Saturday after the game in a game he didn’t play?
Exactly my thoughts - we are still CCFC fans , Robins still did a great job but we are where we are and need to look forward !Yup, that's where I am.
What's done is done, I don't think trying to micro-analyse it and what King said, to within an inch of its life, helps at all
I did yesterday say I would like to see what Robins has to say on the matter, but I have changed my mind. I think it would be much better if he didn't speak out. It would just stir it all up again and create more doubts and bad feeling.
I hope Robins can move on and prove to be a success wherever he ends up
I think now we need to move on, focus on the new man at the helm and back him and the team as best we can.

Perfectly plausible that Robins falls out with Viveash over whatever, comes to a crunch point later down the line where it’s back the players or Adi and he picks the players.
That was Covid.I know, I've helped wheel the metal boxes info the stadium before and usually before the team bus arrives, but in fairness to the original poster, there have been times when more than one bus was used and that was even back in L1 so not a reflection of number of coaches on the bench etc.
Yeah, I agree. I think Robins isn't the type to stir up trouble. I do think he will just stay schtum.TBH, Otis, I can't see Robins stating anything other than thanking the club and the supporters for a memorable seven years. I don't think he's the type to get into a slanging match with King. Wouldn't do him or the reputation of the Club any favours.
Still trust King as far as I could throw him, but we are where we are, so he needs to take advice from people who know football and get the best head coach we possibly can.
PhD, not medical.What?
No abuse from me. Just saying she's a doctor.
Yeah, I know. That was the joke though, the doctor bit and I would have said the same thing if it had been a bloke. It was nothing to do with her being a woman and everything to do with her being a doctor.PhD, not medical.
I don't think you are contradicting me, other than to put it all on Robins as per King's narrative (whereas I have no idea who to blame for the failure to bring in another quality coach). No…
The owner trusted the package of MR and AV to take us forward. MR terminated that and chose a new structure of coaches that didn’t seem to have the same quality for the players. The results have slumped and without quality coaches to support MR and the team, his position became untenable.
The results themselves could justify a change in management if we’re honest with ourselves.
And Dougs clapback autobiography.Yeah, I agree. I think Robins isn't the type to stir up trouble. I do think he will just stay schtum.
I eagerly await his autobiography in 10 years time though.
For some reason it reminded me of Phoenix Nights. An early highlight was King opening with 10 minutes explaining his decision and it being immediately followed with WhatsApp audio of someone demanding King explain his decision
Robins' might be "It's not me, it's you "And Dougs clapback autobiography.
'Doug - A Kings Tale'

More likely to be Malfoy to be honest. So are you saying Potter is the new manager?
Austin’s comment around loans was odd unless I misheard it he said there is a risk they come in and are better than your players then said something about Doyle. His answers on transfer policy were shaky. I still believe he’s vetoing certain players.
And Dougs clapback autobiography.
'Doug - A Kings Tale'
So are you saying Potter is the new manager?
I agree - he is old fashioned also which is not a bad thing - but in modern sport of decks of players and elite coaches it may cause issuesI think he’s more introverted than rude.
Fair in that it aligns with your agendaA very fair appraisal as always from you.
Like you I didn't like the whole tone tonight
'Doug and the Dog' - Sprout King reveals all in shocking autobiographyHow I Doug A Hole And Couldn't Get Out, the explosive New York Times best seller.
I think you’re right. It’s funny, the ITKs have been saying pretty much the same as King said last night but blaming it on King rather than MR.It’s been suggested that Dempster and Delaney could go back to their old jobs, no? Or was that ITK guesswork?
I think some of out fans are looking for our owner to have the combined qualities ofHow I Doug A Hole And Couldn't Get Out, the explosive New York Times best seller.
I think the point he was trying to make really badly was that you have to be selective with loans. You have to play them otherwise their clubs become unhappy your not developing them and they might as well be back with them or somewhere else. It can also sour the relationships with the clubs who may be more reluctant to send a player out to you next time if you’ve agreed to put that player in the 1st team.Austin’s comment around loans was odd unless I misheard it he said there is a risk they come in and are better than your players the said something about Doyle
Things will always seem slightly contradictory if you try and pick holes in it when someone has been speaking freely for an hour. That’s probably the best explanation of what he was trying to get across, but I still think some of it doesn’t make sense and is contradictory, and it is all rather convenient.
washing his hands of any responsibility whatsoever.
Please SirSo are you saying Potter is the new manager?
Yeah but his point was they’ve attracted players based on being part of the team. If those players then don’t play because you favour a loan it upsets the players you own. Makes sense.Austin’s comment around loans was odd unless I misheard it he said there is a risk they come in and are better than your players then said something about Doyle.
Isn’t that the point of loans?
king contradicts himself many time throughout last night
Listening to it again this morning. On the 20 min part for me this was key
king stated the structure is their for a first team coach
he said he gave robins a chance to bring in an assistant but that didn’t materialise
We know full well who was coming in, everyone thought it was done deal. Shame we couldn’t ask who blocked that
robins time has been up for a while
austin seems far more involved than we thought too
