I think we all agree that this is the lineup but my worry is are we too predictable? Other than JCS switching to Panzo it’s basically the same as our best lineup from last season. I don’t currently really seeing any of our bench players winning the shirt off this current lineup.

Still not convinced that Godden & Vik can play together effectively (certainly away from home) Think the box with Allen & O'Hare behind Vik would be the safer option. Ideally this would be Palmer instead of Allen but he's probably not ready yet. Predictable? Predictably good. We also have a very strong bench with flair and pace (Palmer, Tavarres) positional cover (Eccles) and experience (Godden, Waghorn)

Would love to just show The Mackems how big the step up is to the Championship. The lineups talked about should comfortably do that…, but football has a habit of making the obvious before a game look utterly daft after it!!! And we have been masters in the past of pulling an amazing performance out the bag when it looked hopeless and likewise looking odds on for 3 points and end up on the end of a spanking!!! But we’re all back for more…, I just hope Moore is back for more!!

Moore,
Dabo Hyam Fadz Panzo Bidwell
Sheaf Hamer O Hare
Godden Vik

Subs: Wilson Rose Eccles Allen Fabio Walker Burroughs :)

Unlike most away games 2 up top to hit them hard. tough to call the bench with only 7 allowed. No Wag as he picked up a knock and he's Wag. Palmer also got a knock and doesn't seem fit enough yet. Doyle and Rose kept on swapping on my list but I'll go with what we know.

Man City haven’t let us have Doyle for him not to even make the bench.

I've a gut feeling MR will go with Wilson too, largely based on him starting the Portsmouth match. Big call for MR though. The other 50/50 shout for me is whether he starts with 2 up front, as he has done mostly in our prep games. I suspect he will err on the side of caution though and barring injuries I think he will start with:
Wilson
Dabo Hyam McFadzean Panzo Bidwell
Hamer Sheaf Allen O'Hare
Gyokeres
