Assessing a newspaper's "ban" from pre-match press conferences, Sky Blues manager Tony Mowbray says the Coventry Telegraph "took a decison" to call for the club's owners to sell up and are "facing the consequences of that".

The Telegraph says its reporters have been told they won't be granted access to management or players while the campaign continues.

"What do the Telegraph expect after running a headline like that?" Mowbray told us.

Let me re-iterate, I have posted several anti sisu comments today, I hate sisu, but I don't hate CCFC because I don't see them as the same thing.
You can't have it both ways, if you do see them as the same thing and hate sisu you must hate CCFC - why is it so hard to grasp?

We're owned by Otium technically aren't we? So assuming SISU own Otium then that company would be sold by the administrator / liquidator. The FL would then have decide if a point penalty applied for an insolvency event. I would say they would rule SISU do not exist solely as a vehicle for ownership of CCFC so no points penalty.

Otium is CCFC in effect. Basically they own the branding, trade mark. You could argue that the CCFC history was vested in CCFC Ltd and CCFC H Ltd but its all academic.

SISU do not own Otium as far as we know. They are the managing agents of Sconset, an investment fund, that owns the shares in SBS&L (along with Brody) which owns OEG along with ARVO. Although technically SISU have to have a minority interest in the fund that minority interest does not really affect the value of the fund. So if SISU went bust their minority interest would have to be disposed of but Sconset would still exist but would need to appoint new managing agents. No change in CCFC ownership and no material insolvency event affecting ownership - no penalty and no taking back of the golden share. At least that's the way it seems to me. That of course assumes Sconset is substantially more than just investment in "CCFC" and that someone would want to take it on. The problem comes if Sconset is would up for some reason

All the way through the group structure directly affecting CCFC and in deed the SISU Capital group there are little but important barriers that deflect risk losing control, and transparency
