There's an article up now about how the fans are more united than ever. a) that's clearly not true, b) its in part not true due to the CT trying to whip everyone up into a frenzy.

Is that the Gilbert one where he says the thing that unifys the fans most is watching CCFC?

Interesting Simon getting excited about ITV and somewhere else copying and pasting bits, also copying the incorrect bits.

It just goes to show when we get all of this "national" coverage whether they actually check things first.

The chap has just been interviewed on talk sport.
Came across quite well. Due to his time in America he has only been able to see the the sky blues 3-4 times in last six years.
When he selected these dates he did so, so he could see a match and be able to protest and not go into the other match.
Specifically wanted these dates so he could protest.
Gets up at six am to listen to the skyblues live each match.
Found it very hard not going in.
Got our situation more attention on national media
Fair play.

Fair play to him for moving his birthday to match them!

Was his birthday that weekend?

He said he picked the dates and his wife said to him you do realise you will be missing one of the two matches if you take part in the protest. He replied yes that is the point I have missed every single protest so far. So it is time for me to do one. I will do the protest and miss the match.
Fair play to him, massive sacrifice considering how few opportunities he gets to see a game.
Also well done for getting our plight on national radio.

Oh I agree, it is still a big sacrifice and fair play to him. his matches are limited and he chose to watch one.

The issue was the made up stuff ;)

He did know about it and choose the dates because of it.

Nope he came home as we was 50.

As it was pre planned he would, I'm sure, have booked in advance to save air fare costs. He tweeted asking if the match meant boycotting as well when he was already here.

So it's all bollocks but it shows why they make up this drivel as you really can fool some people all of the time.

Of course it's bollocks Grendel you wouldn't sacrifice anything for a cause because you are a self centred twat.
So think everyone is like you.

So let's get this right. Cov fan flies over from the US to support team and fellow fans; and a couple of pricks on here have a go at him. Pathetic, but not unexpected.

Read it, nobody has had a go at him or about him.

Good one in there today. Every club in League One apart from Fleetwood charge £3 for a programme. In the CT article this becomes 'City also top the League One charts for the most expensive programmes'.

Have you got a link to that Dave?
Sorry I went to have a read and couldn't find it.

Same approach as in the thread on here making out we top the shirt prices...

Any way to kick the club when they can.

Makes a change from it being news not actually from Coventry though or a week after everywhere else.

Season tickets at the Ricoh Arena are averagely priced in comparison to their League One competitors.

The cheapest season ticket at City is £299, whereas the cheapest equivalent at Southend is £395.

typical CT, calling us average

Still didn't stop someone arguing with me that the prices of refreshments are high because SISU are ripping the fans off.

Ha, really? Probably went mental about car parking prices too, Fisher ripping us up.

It's no wonder people get so angry and worked up, when they just make shit up and others believe it.

Someone told me our home shirt is white because SISU didn't want to spend money on expensive blue ink. Where's that witch_hat.png?
