Credit where it's due, we're now in a higher position than when they took over. Show them some respect on this thread please.

I mean we went to the bottom to get to where we are now.
And we lost the ricoh for 250 years or whatever it is .

However

We have a better rent agreement .

I'm sorry I can't look past the job of the players and staff , they deserve almost all the credit

Sisu took a back seat and it was the best thing they ever did .

Thankyou Mark Robins

Bringing him back was a great decision to be fair to them.

I'm detecting sarcasm. They've been here 11 years, that demonstrates growth over a sustained period.
Correct lol it took them till we hit league 2 to finally
Realise how near it was to the trapdoor out of the pyramid since then top marks to joy as she is Sisu from what I see.

No need, they've said they're building us a new one and their word is good enough for me, never been wrong before.

I would like to thank sisu for the endless sale of family silver, spearheading our demise from the championship to the bowels of division two, for the failure to submit our accounts time and again meaning we couldn’t sign players, for the rent strike which consequently put us into administration, moving us to Northampton which cut our attendances at a stroke & leaving a space at our home ground for the Nomads of rugby to move into, for moving us out of town again to play our home games, cutting our attendances at a stroke again.
Yes sisu a big thank you.

I know you are having a laugh, it does make you think though, 14 years. All that pain and someone else has now bought the stadium and all they have managed to achieve is a couple of league positions higher, wow it is mental when you consider it! I do wonder what this venture has cost the investment funds in real terms including all the legal battles.

Thinking about the more recent years, SISU has managed the club well. They have backed MR to the hilt, negotiated a good deal with Birmingham when Wasps wouldn't agree rent deal to keep CCFC being able to continue. They have now agreed a 10 year deal to stay at the Ricoh. SISU recent management has, compared to a lot of clubs, been excellent.
We tell Sunderland supporters not to live in the past of their hatred for us, yet aren't we doing the same with SISU ?
