I see JLR are getting into the Dyson brexit spirit and brexiting the new defender production line to Slovenia. Real shame both from a safeguarding and creating new jobs in the U.K. but also from a historical point of view as production of this model in it’s original guise at Solihull is where Land Rover began.
Brexit must of been the reason why Peugeot moved from Ryton 12 years ago too!!
Grendel is right. I even gave him a like...
I know. The discovery on the other hand...
You clearly didn’t know lol
Hmmm, was the danger as soon as Peugeot took them over tbh.Clearly not but if I was working at Vauxhall’s factory in Ellesmere Port I would be asking myself what incentive does PSA have to keep it open rather than move production to one of the Opel factories in the EU. Especially if there’s a hard brexit but not specifically a hard brexit. They only make the Astra there now IIRC and it’s also made in Opel’s Russelsheim plant as well. Especially as Astra sales figures have been tumbling in the last few years.

There's still a place for Vauxhall to be taken over as a brand by someone like JLR. It'd need some re-establishing in Europe, but it could position itself as a truly 'British' mass-market brand now Ford have bogged off, and Rover are no more.
As it stands, Peugeot will do for them the same as they did for the last vestiges of Rootes. Then we'll be down to Toyota and Nissan - if we're lucky!
Of course what we appear to be ignoring is that other parties set a manifesto, discolse it & then once elected ignore it! Which is worse &/or more transparent? It comes down to nothing more than whether you feel you can trust the personality. The reality is as this is known and people do vote for him that’s democracy as it’s what the people who vote for him want.
I’m voting for him. I wish Screaming lord Such was still alive however as I’d have voted for him and his other members such as Tarquin Fumblewit Biscuit Barrel and genuinely would have helped fund them as their presence in Brussels with their silly clothes and hats and shouting looney every 5 minutes would be a fitting addition to the Brussels asylum
Mart is angling to be a candidate for Brexit party as he fits his own description perfectlyThen he will be exposed at the ballot box if you are correct - why mention the IRA at all
I was fishing to be honest. Nick isn’t the only troll on here. Although I only do it part time.
So what about the discovery?

Ed Milliband was on R5live earlier spouting about climate change & what we should be doing...what the govt should be doing. Challenged about his own actions ahh - errrm...eating less meat. Apparently his house doesn't lend itself to solar power, and he will get an electic car as soon as he can (must be on the breadline now - poor Ed)...but many would've had him as PM in the blink of an eye!

I see that Grayling has cancelled that ferry contract at a cost of 50million to the taxpayer.
Leavers in the main keep to the truth. Remainers in the main don't. I pull those up most that are remain because of this reason. The rest of the time it is down to views. It isn't down to me to try and change the views of people. It wouldn't work anyway. When did I take the piss? Farage is an opportunist and is only out for himself, so I’m not surprised he has tried to make a comeback. Not that he ever went away that is, he has enjoyed a fair bit of coverage.
All posters on this thread are hugely for one side, not just those who voted remain, it’s reflective of how entrenched views are. I’ve yet to see you directly complain to leavers about their positions though, unless you think they’re neutral too and also post pro EU posts for balance?
Some said it was great that there is now a trade deal between the EU and Japan. Is it now still great that they are pulling out of Europe because they have a trade deal that means they don't have to build cars in Europe? All very true. I have a mate from Swindon who recons that Honda pulling out is the canary down the mineshaft for Japanese manufactures in the U.K. He believes many are waiting to see what the knock on effect is on sales in the U.K. and EU and how Honda manage to serve the market directly from Asia.

I want and need for us to remain. But I won't sell my soul to try and change the mindset of others like some do.
Farage? Like I said before he uses people to get what he wants and people use Farage to get what they want. You would champion someone like Farage if he wanted remain. And there is plenty like him that want remain like him in parliament. But they are OK because they want what you want.

What have the leavers said which has come true?
We can sell things to Japan though. Are they pulling out of Europe or out of the UK?
Blue passports back. Made in France unlike the red ones which were made in Britain. Still, the colours right and that’s all that matters for the one time you use it a year. It just doesn’t look patriotic hiding in your sock draw the rest of the year otherwise.

I think you'll probably die way before your time. The obsession and bitterness isn't going to do your mental health any good. Join a gym or a knitting club.Leavers lied to get the referendum across the line. They are still lying now. They will have to keep lying and blaming everyone and anyone for the disasters coming up because of Brexit.

What are you blathering about you melon?
You don’t fix systemic carbon output (mostly from industry) by individual actions.
Methinks that particular boat sailed a long time ago?I think you'll probably die way before your time. The obsession and bitterness isn't going to do your mental health any good.
Pity about the 40 trade deals the day after Brexit though... If Brexit has taken place on 29 March as promised by leavers
Err, isn't the biggest contributor to greenhouse gasses methane from cattle? And isn't most of that due to the increase in meat consumption in so-called 'developing nations'?
Are cows the cause of global warming? | Time for change
Theresa May was never a 'leaver'. She was lying then and she's lying now. She takes her orders direct from Brussels and always has done.
