Playing the victim? You have worn out that phrase of yours. What are you on about? What he said is correct, I wasn’t saying you were. Stop playing the victim.
A conversation with several on here is impossible unless you say everything bad about Brexit and defend the EU to the hilt.Ok whatever. You keep making arguments out of nothing while telling everyone you’re the only one who can see both sides.
Try being less combative and you might actually be able to have a conversation with someone.

Name them. Because everything you constantly mention is included. No he’s talking about a transition period. Many of the plans being mooted wouldn’t have a transition period.

I have never said Brexit is good. But neither is the EU love in we get all the time here. What would be better?
It was the shiniest turd. Customs Union or SM would be better but you’d froth even more about “still in the EU”.
If that’s not good enough for Brexiters then they’ve admitted Brexit is a bust and we should revoke. There’s no magical deal that’s better.
Exactly. But of course you can have your pats on the back for having a go at me as usual. Well done. The sheep will be along soon. The withdrawal agreement was why nothing would change. Jesus wept

That’s what the “sheep” were trying to tell you all along. All of a sudden FP says the same thing and you reply “exactly” after arguing the opposite.
Not being able to leave the EU until the EU says we can leave is leaving the EU?

Not being able to leave the EU until the EU says we can leave is leaving the EU?
The astonishing revelation a leave without s deal option was never even mentioned let alone be the primary negotiating stance of the UK at the very beginning shows May was just a dribbling euriphile working with the Eu to create a leave but no leave option
Who put forward a deal that your current hero Alexander voted for at one point.
Alexander himself was pro-EU and wrote articles as such and only changed sides because he saw the chance to create a power vacuum giving him a route to be PM.
Alexander doesn't give a fuck about being in or out of the EU. He cares if he's in or out of No.10. If being a dribbling Europhile had been better for his own ambitions he would've said he was a dribbling Europhile.
Which is irrelevant - he recognised the decision must be made and he has set a definite statement of policy for his party
So did May with her famous red lines. Announced to the cheers of brexiteers all around the country.
I left my last job after working my notice period. Are you telling me I still work for them? If so I've got a lot of hours to catch up on. And they own me a lot of backpay.
Even your hero de Pfeffel Johnson said that no one was talking about a no deal during the referendum campaign. It wasn’t as it was all smoke and mirrors as we now know a hard Brexit was never even in the talks
It wasn’t as it was all smoke and mirrors as we now know a hard Brexit was never even in the talks
No one campaigned for a hard brexit so no one voted for one so why should a hard brexit have been in the talks? There’s no mandate for a hard brexit. What makes you so sure that Boris’ talk isn’t all smoke and mirrors? It certainly has been up to this point. Previously an advocate for EU membership. Did you ever watch the TV documentary he made which was basically an appeal for Turkey to join the EU? Did you read his column the Monday after the referendum where he outlays his vision of brexit and basically describes the Norway option? I think you’re struggling to see the smoke and mirrors through the smoke and mirrors.
I’m talking about the negotiation process - the default position is always this, therefore if neither side or political party accepted this as the default it’s laughable.
The deal presented by May was a soft soap deal that could potentially have tied us in the backstop and the customs union forever
So if that’s the outcome that was wanted why did he opposition party who stood on a mandate to leave the Eu at the previous election not accept it?
All that has happened is the country has entrenched itself into a remain and stick in half the country or just leave.
I do not also accept that many leave voters wanted a customs union or freedom of movement - so actually most wanted a hard Brexit. I do also accept a compromise given the relative closeness of the vote was a way forward. The customs union idea was rejected in parliament by many labour MPs as was the other soft options
So if the opposition stood on a leave mandate what actually did they want - what do they want now?
You see this is the big scam about the backstop. If we negotiate the so called easiest trade deal in the history of man during the transitional period then the backstop is completely irrelevant
So the backstop is only to do to with trade - blimey you learn something new every day
Which is irrelevant - he recognised the decision must be made and he has set a definite statement of policy for his party
Not just no. But it’s the majority. Any issues regarding the backstop can be resolved during the transitional period in theory. If you have the conviction of what you’ve sold that is.
So the movement of people is a minority issue - right
No one campaigned for a hard brexit so no one voted for one
No, no one did campaign or vote for Hard Brexit…just Brexit.
Just Leave or Remain, remember?
ERG have consistently voted to remain, then. No, no one did campaign or vote for Hard Brexit…just Brexit.
Just Leave or Remain, remember?
Hard and Soft were versions created post referendum by the bad losers.

It’s not the losers complaining that leaving the EU isn’t enough.
tbf, we're all losers in this. It’s not the losers complaining that leaving the EU isn’t enough.
tbf, we're all losers in this.
The Labour Party have voted against every option presented to the House
