Do the maths. If you were born in the early to mid 1930s you'd likely remember the war but at the time of the referendum you'd be in your late 80s now or very likely deceased.Yes they were boomers, the war generation are mostly Remain.
And this shit has been all over my FB wall for years, you must’ve been blind to miss it.

Yeah its soooo funny haha can't stop laughingDim. rofl
It may be another case of winning the popular vote but not the electoral college. Especially with the further gerrymandering and ID needed to combat (almost non-existent) voter fraud (which mainly occurs on the Rep side by people fooled by the right-wing rhetoric and do it to 'even it out'.
Bernie is quite hard left for America, especially in 'red' states whereas over here he's thought of as quite reasonable left wing.
Peronally I'd have loved to see Michelle Obama go for it. To see Trump not just beaten by an Obama, but someone black AND a woman. Sweet! Plus she's very good at public speaking and she's wipe the floor with Trump. It'd be fun just to see him have a meltdown live on TV in a debate.
TBF, when budgets were cut It was up to the old bill where they made those savings. It was easier under police regs and contracts to make the older coppers retire when they'd got their 30 years service in and simply no replace them. There were still loads doing investigations and back office work that a civvy could fulfill. What the should have done was make those who carried a warrant card and weren't on restricted duties get back on the front line.
He lives in dreamland, he'd make us enemies with Trump and the USA who are our main allies.. he can't be trusted

Anyone born in the 40, 50, and 60s isn't going to remember Ww2 and certainly are old enough not to give a toss about these "meme" twattish things online.
I think they're your audience here aren't they? So you're well and truly out of touch.
He’s only got this far because the remainers pushed him. You’re welcome by the way. The last time we pushed something through Parliament this quick on the word of a PM we invaded Iraq of the back of a dressed up dossier that received no scrutiny in Parliament. If the importance of proper scrutiny is lost on you from that lesson then you really are lost. He's tried to get it done idiot!!! Its a good idea, a majority will form and then none of pissing around will be allowed to happen anymoreHe's tried to get it done by voting down the WA and resigning from cabinet. This practically forced May to step down and have a Tory leadership contest (which is what he wanted), wasting even more time. He's tried to push the debate back as far as possible by proroguing parliament. He's held back the Withdrawal Agreement from parliament to scrutinise.
The only thing you could argue he's done to get Brexit done is try to push through the WA on a speeded up processes, but even that when put to even slight scrutiny is disingenuous. He went for that knowing it was very unlikely to be agreed to. So what did he do? Threaten to pull the WA entirely and demand an election, which will take another further month from the timetable. Not because it helps Brexit, but because it favours him.
Didn't think it'd matter anyway, because you were certain the EU wouldn't grant an extension?
Let's revisit this post when you're remortgaging your house to pay your medical bills
Corbyn would collapse the economy with all that borrowing he plans:smuggrin:

Its a good idea, a majority will form and then none of pissing around will be allowed to happen anymore
Now people realise how clueless Corbyn is and how his brexit plans are losing so many voters, we shall see!Wasn't that the thinking behind the 2017 election?
God you talk some shiteThe pissing around from Johnson you mean?
Deluded. He could piss on your head and you’d think it’s raining.

And now more of them willBrexit voters went Tory in 2017, not Labour.

The general public is a bit thick-there is no controversy to be had
When Teresa May lost her majority at the last election she was consistently polling at over 40%, just before she announced an election she was polling in some polls nearer to 50% which with a margin of error allowed could have actually been over 50%. I wouldn’t be staking anything about an election going the way you think it will. Even if current polling is correct at best case scenario the numbers in parliament by all analyses of the polls predict no change except for gains for the Lib Dem’s and SNP. Even with Labour losing predicted seats a Lib Dem/SNP/Labour alliance could well be a likely outcome for the next government. The Tories seem to be on their own, they’ve burned their differences with the DUP (from the feet I know on the ground I think the DUP may well take a hiding in a general election anyway) and a pack with the Brexit Party (should they get any elected MP’s anyway as it looks like the only thing they’ll do is split the leaver vote to the detriment of both the Tories and Labour) seems unlikely anyway unless the Tories come over to a hard brexit. I really struggle to find a scenario where a general election goes the way you think it will.
Funny how those who call the electorate thick are the same ones who call for them to be given a final vote on a deal so complex that parliament must be allowed several weeks to properly scrutinise it.
Now people realise how clueless Corbyn is and how his brexit plans are losing so many voters, we shall see!
Again that was the thinking in 2017. Corbyn is unelectable so have a quick election, larger majority, can push whatever we like through.
I'll give you Boris is better at getting people to like him than May but the way things are recently I'd take nothing for granted. There are sadly a number of people for whom who they vote for in a GE is too ingrained to change no matter what they say before hand. When push comes to shove they put that tick in the box they've always put it in.
Clearly you completely misunderstood what he said. You think we should just revoke? Bold.
Clearly you completely misunderstood what he said.
Im just playing. But surely either you think the public is capable of voting in both referenda or neither?
You're completely missing the point. No one is taken in by this shite so what on earth is the significance of it ? Nothing. You are spectacularly missing the point.
The people who use war imagery and go on about Blitz spirit and sticking it to the Germans are a bunch of posers who weren’t born during the war.

You clearly believe it. We're not all as gullible. If anyone has the data on what Brexit voters like its Leave.EU and they think this imagery works.
