Yea it is all Ireland's fault that Britain is leaving the EU.

Could the Romanian study in Sri Lanka? The point is that the Romanian is an EU citizen, the same as you or I and shares the same rights with us. You could study in Romania if you wanted to.

Why would we want to if it isn't good enough for the Romanians?

Plenty of Romanians study in Bucharest. Great city.

Deadlock over UK's Brexit bill - Barnier

This is strange, it seems that even Davis claims progress has been made on citizens' rights but the insiders on here told us that the EU was refusing to even speak about it.

Do you seriously take anything an unelected pipsqueak like him says seriously.

When I see the cretin in his one moment in the limelight I know we were so right to leave this federal gravy train

Read even the first line. Then agree with what I have been saying.

Barnier is only interested in what he can get us to pay. He is even saying nothing is agreed so he won't talk about the important things.

But you are 100% pro EU and can't bring yourself to admit what is going on.

He also mentions citizens rights and the Irish border. The UK should pay what it owes.I'd say citizens'rights and the Irish border are important, wouldn't you?

Good idea. Someone without a 100% bias to the EU and someone who is willing to debate where it is leading instead of crying about the vote result every day for over a year will do.

Hahaha...where is it leading? You state your opinion and pass it off as fact of where it's heading. I will remain a EU citizen but want the best for the UK and IMO leaving is a massive mistake. Of course in your world it will always be someone else's fault though.

Well the north voted remain and the south didn’t get a vote. Not sure how you could say that this is down to the Irish, whichever side of the border they’re from.

So what do we owe?

We are willing to pay to the end of the present budget agreed. He is saying that we should also pay towards long term budgets not agreed.

Or do you think we should pay over 100 billions like he wants? Of course you do. You don't even want to live here. You want to live in Verona.

I've already said that Britain should pay what is owes. Who knows what is going on behind closed doors with regards to both sides, obviously it is all down to the EU though.

So what if I want to live elsewhere? Not sure what that's got to do with it. I thought pre Brexit you wanted to spend your retirement touring Europe?

And the fact I said about Barnier has been said by Barnier. How about your facys so far?

Not millions of homeless you said. I showed you the proof. You agreed it was shameful. Said you didn't have time to look at it in detail but would when you had time. You have time to spout your pro EU stuff. But no time to check what you kept calling a lie until you saw the proof.

I don't believe I ever called it a "lie". I'm still curious as to what your big idea post Brexit is to cure homelessness? Gifting homes to people isn't going to go down too well, especially amongst private landlords. I suppose that government subsidies could work?

Clearly - as there's no formula clearly you'd want Britain to pay the lowest it's legally committed to. Barnier seems incapable of saying what the figure is and I can't actually see a exit calculation in the eu articles. If we legally can't be forced to pay a Euro surely we shouldn't?

And I still do.

Your problem is you can't fault the EU whatever they do. I say it how it is. You don't like it.

You are happy when I have a go at the Tories. But you hate it when I have a go at Labour or the EU.

I'm not biased. I think I would be better off if we stayed in the EU. It isn't happening....or at least doesn't look so. So I look for what could happen next. You don't like it. So you accuse me of being a Tory and anti EU.

You are right. Find someone else to take the piss out of. You don't want a debate. You just have a pro EU agenda that you constantly push forward and try to rubbish everything else even when you are obviously wrong.

He is in effect a senior civil servant. He doesn’t have to be elected. Maybe we should have a Professional leading out negotiating team? We might get a better deal.

Barnier has said that May wants to honour the UKs commitments, but the UK won’t say precisely which commitments she meant.

Or the EU get a better deal?

Barnier needs to say what we owe. What is it Mart? Where is the Euro calculation in its articles for a country leaving the union? What is he asking for. Anyway I now know two firm remainers who want to leave asap as they let's say do not like Mr Barnier. A professional? Great - bring it on let's get merkel telling the British what we need to do and get in line.

Oh yes please bring it on

No. He is saying the ROI cannot be blamed for the border problem as they weren’t asked about remaining in or leaving the EU.

"So I showed you another link saying that people like you are deluded." - hahaha EU migration is not to blame for homelessness. Still waiting for your proof that most non EU migration comes from the USA and Australia.
