I wish when I lived in London (working for a company with a base fairly close to Brighton) I'd bought a property - would have set me up for life!Yeah compared to 10-15 years ago rents have increased 100%. Loads or buy to let landlords taking advantage of the student market and families selling houses in London and moving down and pushing up asking prices
Now I remember why I have you blocked.I’ve repeatedly said to you that the issue is failure of multiple governments over decades to invest in the infrastructure our economy demands (so many times in fact that as soon as I start typing that sentence my iPhone brings it up as a predictive option and I don’t even have to type it up in full) and you’ve repeatedly dismissed it with “and I suppose immigration/freedom of movement/EU has nothing to do with it” or any variation of that. Now you’re denying it and accusing others of twisting. Classic Astute.
Now I remember why I have you blocked.
So are you joining Mart and SB in saying that FOM has made no difference to our lack of investment in housing and infrastructure?
And why don't you question others on saying the same thing that agree with you on most things?
In what? Democracy?
Unlike you I will.

You know it isn't what I am saying. Because you 'like' other posters that say exactly the same as me. But you say I am scapegoating immigrants for saying exactly the same thing.Yeah cos you’re always calling out pro-Brexit posts.
So you’re now blaming FoM for a lack of investment in infrastructure?

Try reading what I said again.
The government is to blame. But FOM makes the situation worse. This isn't blaming FOM. This is saying we are not investing in homes/infrastructure that is needed to cope. Just like we are not investing in homes/infrastructure for those being born. Are you now going to say I am scapegoating those who start a family?
Or how about those who were celebrating the UK were forecast to have the worse growth coming out of all the EU countries
Britain's manufacturing sector booms as the eurozone's stutters | This is Money

Yes, the UK‘s best for 2 months and Eurozone‘s worst since 2016. caused largely by Italy‘s populists falling out with the EU over their budget.
...and 17 million others. They're all wrong then ?You seem to forget that we are where we are because of people like yourself voting leave. We are a distressed trading partner looking at potential options like joining Norway in EFTA, along with Liechtenstein and Iceland. That may appear humiliating, but you and your ilk have put us there. I pointed it out and you don’t like it. The blame for our situation certainly doesn’t apply to me because I was denied a vote, although my rights under FOM will be taken away.
I don’t think I’ve seen anyone celebrate anything to do with UK suffering, the fact this thread has been going for so long is due to people believing what they’re saying is right for the country.
You seem to forget that we are where we are because of people like yourself voting leave.
Why use populist when it’s a democratically elected government whose views differ from yours?
Actually no. We are where we are because of people like you, in particular remain politicians, who refuse to accept the result of the largest vote in our history.
And just for the record, I fully expect that we won’t get a proper Brexit, perhaps no Brexit, at least not this time. It will happen eventually though, it’s inevitable.
If we don’t stay in the cabal Mart definitely wants the uk to suffer
Rudd has now said that the EEA could be a
Ernie, we are were we are because of the incompetence of the Tories. And deep down, you know it.Actually no. We are where we are because of people like you, in particular remain politicians, who refuse to accept the result of the largest vote in our history.

Because they are populists. Read the definition in the clip from the Guardian. Bannon, who is the self appointed leader of populists counts them as part of a populist movement. Populists can be from left or right, it is about their tactics rather than their political views.
...and 17 million others. They're all wrong then ?
Cheers I’m actually in a pub Mart and I bet my mate a pint that that one simple post from me would get the word Bannon from you - you never fail to disappoint - it’s good though as I have some remainer friends and I portraying you as what people in Europe think of us and how they want us to be enslaved in the EU or face misery which they will gloat at
Keep going - hopefully get a couple to swing the other way
Why is kicking off in France relevant to us been the only country in the world without a trade deal come next March? The natives are revolting!
L'attaque sur EU parliament n'est pas!Why is kicking off in France relevant to us been the only country in the world without a trade deal come next March?
L'attaque sur EU parliament n'est pas!
Your memory is failing you. We were supposed to be doing the worse out of all EU countries. And we were told it was all the fault of the leave voters. But nothing would be listened to for how it was known it would happen. And it hasn't so far. Just more project fear and more people falling for it.I don’t think I’ve seen anyone celebrate anything to do with UK suffering, the fact this thread has been going for so long is due to people believing what they’re saying is right for the country.
What a load of crap. The UK is still in the EU.Yes, the UK‘s best for 2 months and Eurozone‘s worst since 2016. caused largely by Italy‘s populists falling out with the EU over their budget.
When did that happen? Why is kicking off in France relevant to us been the only country in the world without a trade deal come next March?
What a load of crap. The UK is still in the EU.
So you are saying that EU manufacturing depends on Italy falling out with people? :shifty:
When did that happen?

But it doesn't matter because hardly anyone wants the crap deal put together between May and the EU.
Now I know you're lying.my mate
We haven't left yet and you are like a hysterical schoolchild as usual. Did you cry a lot at school if the teacher got cross ?Looks like it at the moment. Or do you think the present situation is a roaring success?
