The BBC is funded by the licence fee. They are not allowed to advertise anything. And they are not allowed to take a penny from the government in case it helps bring bias about. The BBC is supposed to be totally unbiased. So if the BBC can't take money from the British government how can it take money from what rules the British government?

They're not news, they are forecasts and threats from pro Remain campaigners, who have already condemned the country to hell before they really know the true impact of Brexit. I want to know what's actually happening not what MIGHT happen in their bias opinion. I still believe its all a sham by May and the EU, they are playing for time whilst all the scaremongering increases then we will either get a Brexit that means nothing or another vote. Either way the metropolitan elite will get their way and make it look like democracy !They do report all sides. The issue seems to be that there’s more bad news stories than there is good news stories. How’s that the BBC or any news outlets fault. Clearly the only way you can address that balance is with censorship of one side of the story.

Stories? If they’re stories they’re not the ones pushing them. It’s the leaders of industry, NHS bosses, BOE, MP’s etc. Covering those “stories” is what makes it news. Maybe they shouldn’t cover the story from a victim of bombing in Yemen because it’s just a persons story and therefore not news. You seem to be trying to blur the lines between a story and news, reporting that JLR’s boss has said x,y and z is news.
So industry disrupting their cash flow to stockpile components is a “scare” story? They haven’t took these decisions on a whim because they’re anti brexit. Cash flow is king in industry, this is a very real and tangible effect of brexit. The “scare” story was 12, 18 months ago when they first started saying it, the reality is that they’re now actually doing it. That by it’s very definition dismissing it that it ever was a scare story. Same with extended shut downs. Not a scare story a reality. The NHS stockpiling drugs. Not a scare story as it’s happening, it’s a reality. Congestion at the ports, again not a scare story as the government has had to dish contracts out to foreign shipping lines (I’ll dismiss the token British company as not only was it a pie in the sky company I see the local council has reported this week that they don’t have a budget to ready the port for roll on roll of services due to budget cuts from central government so it isn’t going to happen anyway). Not a scare story, something that is tangible and happening right in front of you.
The ECG coming out with unicorn policies that are completely intangible to deliver a utopian brexit that isn’t achievable. ECG member David Davis selling some of these fantasies having already dismissed them as fantasy while serving as brexit ministers. Leavers will pap that shit up though. Blue passports again. Leavers will lap that shit up again even though we could have always brought them back and to bring them back we’ve taken work of a U.K. based company and handed it to a EU based company. Leavers mentality on reported news would have them sitting at home in North Korea, emaciated through starvation but because an over enthusiastic, smiling, bouncy, clearly well fed woman on the news tells them that there are no food shortages and we’ve won the world they’d turn around to themselves and say actually I’m not starving because I did have that bowl of rice last week. Yippee the news is correct.

And yes I won't back down from the truth. If the truth had been said from the start of the referendum being called we wouldn't be in this position now. But what you get is people accusing the other side of doing what they do themselves.

I know you’re joking but I’m starting to think there’s a stealth project fear that people who keep claiming project fear are operating in stealth mode. When they keep referring to project fear they’re actually operating their own project fear by promoting that there’s a project fear. It’s a complete double bluff and leavers are lapping it up in huge numbers. The BBC reports more bad news stories than good news stories. It couldn’t possibly be that the reality is that despite the promised utopia it doesn’t exist so naturally there’s more bad news stories than good but some Tory back bencher shouts project fear and the leavers nod in unison because it’s easier to believe in a ghost than a living entity. If scooby doo catches project fear and pulls its mask of he’s going to reveal a leave backer, maybe a member of the ERG.

But when I post bad things about the EU, why some might be better off leaving the EU or say anything against the Labour party I am biased and it starts off the normal stupid arguments.
From some not all but I understand the passion. At my church we have put an installation up and we are being encouraged to stand in the gap and seek to bring reconciliation to the splintering this has caused our society. I have really struggled to accept that people are ok to have different opinions to me and hold them strongly and to discuss their merit rather than to seek to win an argument or personalise those disagreements. You guys have helped me with that so thank you. But and it’s a big but. If you know more than me and recognise the damage that will be done or is being done then I totally accept why it’s more than just a discussion and becomes a passionate debate that has to be won at all costs. I for one have never said all will be rosy in the garden, there will be a period where there is some disruption and confusion but the issues are not insurmountable. How many countries border Switzerland and they still prosper.
