He’s a conservative.
But, tbf, it was his job to make a ruling based on convention. He did and you didn’t like it. Doesn’t automatically make him a twat though.
He's about as remain as you could get, bias
That's the point. 2 different yougov polls with is if the end result ishaving a referendum and remaining in eu a good option 37%.others are different types of leave options. That was a different question.
So how about answering the question. How can you blame the leavers or the DUP when about 80% of MP's including the DUP are remainers?

Yet you ignore that he threw convention in the bin when he took over the role. He’s a conservative.

And?DUP campaigned for brexit not remain

And?
They want a deal. Why won't anyone deny it? A deal will keep us tied to the EU. It will keep them tied to the EU.
Yes it is.Here is a bit of humour:
Nigel Farage's Brexit Betrayal March hires 200 Polish walkers after finding Brits are not willing to do the job
@Astute: it is a joke.

Problem with Bercow (for those that want to go on about one convention) is that he has broken many other conventions.Bercow is an unelected preening self publicist
Yes it is.
And having parliament in such a mess gives him a voice still.
Then you have those who have a go at the May deal and then have a go at those who stop the May deal going through. This is also a joke.

Wanting a deal with the EU isn't being against the EU like some on here are making out. Wanting a deal is wanting to remain tied to the EU.And unlike you claimed “How can you blame the leavers or the DUP when about 80% of MP's including the DUP are remainers?”
Just correcting your assumptions, you’re welcome by the way.
Are we going to be all day picking out different clueless or biased people??
I don’t know what you are on about.
I’ll throw in another Brexit liar as you hate liars. Apparently.
Dan Hannan’s problem with the truth - InFacts
Problem with Bercow (for those that want to go on about one convention) is that he has broken many other conventions.
He has politicised the role of the speaker which will be a fundamental change in the role of the Speaker going forward.
As speaker should not have declared his remain vote.
I will claim a bias here. I was at university with him and he was an obnoxious prat. As right wing as you can get (neo nazi past well documented) and an attention seeker. Loved to needle people for the sake of it. Anyone who knows university politics will tell Essex was not the place for Tory politics!!
Entered Parliament on the right wing of the Conservative party and noted eurosceptic. His swing to the left following his marriage sums up his convenience politics.
Wanting a deal with the EU isn't being against the EU like some on here are making out. Wanting a deal is wanting to remain tied to the EU.
When it all started they wanted out with no ties. When they found out what was on offer from the EU they changed their tune. They are now on a loser whatever happens.
As I also said there are many people who also wanted out of the EU but now want to keep ties so everything stays as it is.
This isn't leaving the EU other than in name.

I don't mind as long as it is those from both sides of the debate. But knowing your past on this thread.........
There are many quotes about remaining in the SM and CU from leavers. Many wanted back to the EEC and out of political union. Now it is down to only 2 leave choices: May’s deal or no deal. So many have had to change their stance.
You claimed that they’re remainers, they’re not. They campaigned for leave. I corrected you. You’re welcome.
He came very close to crossing to Labour when he sat as an MP. He received little or no Tory support in several of the Speaker elections whilst being mainly supported by Labour.I would not call him left by any means. He is calling the government in on this very important discussion. Presenting the same proposal time and time again is wasting parliament‘s time and probably a deliberate stalling tactic to force May’s deal through. It is proper that that is ruled upon and that the government must put in new ideas. The rest is not relevant to that, although I bet he is a dick if you know him.

As for your last sentence you just make yourself look foolish when you move away from your better points of view and make it personal.
tbf, he's agreeing with your statement isn't he? As in 'I agree he's probably an arse on a personal level'.He came very close to crossing to Labour when he sat as an MP. He received little or no Tory support in several of the Speaker elections whilst being mainly supported by Labour.

They campaigned for leave. Yes. As I stated. Yes.You claimed that they’re remainers, they’re not. They campaigned for leave. I corrected you. You’re welcome.
And those who want to renegotiate don't count? There are many quotes about remaining in the SM and CU from leavers. Many wanted back to the EEC and out of political union. Now it is down to only 2 leave choices: May’s deal or no deal. So many have had to change their stance.
Have it your way. Had enough of your petty games. Only leavers are twats. Only leave lies were real lies.Remainers ard not in the same league as leavers when it comes to telling blatant lies.
And before you equate lies to predictions, just look at the predictions for our last game. Are all those who got the result wrong based on current form liars and cheats? Of course not, they got their predictions wrong. This is different to just making facts up like Dan Hannan and an array of lying leavers.
Not my fault that you and a couple others want to twist what I have said by missing out most of it and just taking a few words from it.But, but, Astute is honest and neutral...
ok your last sentence (like opinion pollsI just think he looks like a bit of a self important person and there have been reports of him yelling and shouting at his staff. I don’t know him, but based on the little I have seen he could be a dick, but I don’t know for sure.
Few are full Brexit like they think they voted before. Few wanted the terms that are currently on offer but that's all that is on offer. Not my fault that you and a couple others want to twist what I have said by missing out most of it and just taking a few words from it.
Look back. The reason the May deal hasn't gone through was supposed to be because of brexiteers and the 10 votes from the DUP. They are less than 2% of the vote and want to have a deal. They are not full Brexit like they voted for. They don't want hard borders like has been said. They want to be tied to the EU. They don't want Corbyn to become PM because of his links to the IRA.
I suppose you would congratulate anyone else who has changed their minds other than the DUP.
