I had a fiver on it last night at 8/1.....I never doubted there would be a leave vote, virtually everybody I spoke to (outside of work) was voting out. Just annoyed I didn't put a few more quid on.

snap.
£20 @ 9/1 on Betfair at 11.00 last night.
9/1 in a 2-horse race not bad.

For some this may look like a bad day for the UK but it's far worse for the EU. Belgium, France, Denmark, Italy, Holland and Sweden have all come out either saying they want out or have reaffirmed their stance on wanting out. Iceland have said it makes them less likely to join (didn't want to anyway tbf). In 10 years the EU could well be dead in the water anyway.

As for the markets pretty much every major one is in the red atm. The only one that has gained is gold. Also it should be noted I got 1.12€ to the pound last week after getting 1.24 the week before. It dropped from 1.30 to 1.20 around 2 this morning but has now bounced between 1.24 and 1.25 for the last hour or so. What's happening here is having an equal effect on what's happening almost everywhere else.

Now Cameron has gone Osbourne and to a lesser extent Corbyn has to go too now surely?

ta for the heads up blaze. Loads of scare mongering in the press glad you have a realistic outlook to give some perspective.

Bit sorry for Cameron he wasn't as bad as some...just hope that c*** Osbourne doesn't get the job

I have to say I'm also shocked at the anger & vitriol being spewed at us "outers"......some of my mates have over-stepped the line with me today.....I'm gonna give them a chance to apologise over a beer at the weekend once they've stopped wetting themselves.....its not their fault they've lived for years wrapped up in the cotton wool bubble of white-collar public sector land..

....reality bites lads...reality bites.

Some Idiout young woman from London was interviewed this morning on the radio and she whinged on about 'if this is democracy then I want no part of it'. FFS the country has turned out in massive numbers and voted. Accept it as a majority decision and move on.
Why do people feel so aggrieved about a majority decision these days?

People in London are like a different breed. They can't believe that us suckers in the provinces have voted against them. It shows the mentality of your typical university leaver, no wonder politics is a mess. They genuinely think that they know better than everybody else.

People also saying how older people shouldn't be able to vote, nothing to do with the fact they tended to vote in the opposite direction as them.

Yeah, fans on a football forum probably aren't putting plans together for the country anyway.

And I've suggested otherwise where?

I'll give older people their due (anybody who was old enough to vote in the EEC referendum of 1975 i.e. 57 years or older) they voted us in to what become the EU so they can vote us out again if they want.

How ironic.

My wife's voting papers arrived this morning after leaving North Warwickshire Borough Council on May 23rd.

My papers are still missing. I have been visiting my local post office for the last 4 weeks, as my post doesn't get delivered to my house.

After sitting in customs in Madrid & Las Palmas.

I campaigned to exclude all people with too many S's and Z's in their name and go shopping to Tesco's in their pyjamas, but no-one got back to me.

The way you keep asking people on a football forum for plans?

Let me guess your reply

"You dont know what I am thinking, etc etc" yawn.

The plan, not their plans.

so having already said they can't promise the extra £350m they kept banging on about the Leave campaign now saying they aren't sure they can cut immigration!

Been several people on the various news channels saying they voted leave as a protest but wanted to remain. Don't understand that at all.

Nope. That is just daft. It's not really a protest vote scenario is it.

The figure you see on the TV are the Bank of England rate.
You will never be offered the bank of England rate, this is a guide.

Banks or other Money Exchange places:- abroad I have noticed offer 5c (+/- either side of the Bank of England rate - depends if you are buying or selling), in the UK offer 10p +/-, airports abroad offer 10c +/-, and UK airports 15-20p +/-. Best deals I got in the UK was about 3p off the Bank of England rate.

What a mad comment. The Ill-educated dregs of society living in places like Coventry, Hull, Blackburn etc have ruined this country's future with their nationalist crap from the dark ages.

Interestingly it looks like the areas with the strongest leave vote are the areas that benefit the most economically from being in the EU.

That just points are the remain campaign failing though doesn't it?

I didn't get a single person / side try to get my vote and tell me why I should vote for their side.

This is what happens if you allow Ralph Wiggum the right to vote.

On the plus side, at least the kids will be allowed to play conkers again!

So, Susanna Reid has pushed Nigel Farage on the NHS this morning and guess what? He NOW says that we can't guarantee that money that currently goes to the EU can go to the NHS. The vail of deceit is falling already and the smoke hasn't even settled yet. I wonder how many voted out based on this. As John Major also pointed out you can't trust Boris, Gove or IDS with the NHS either. Between them they either want the NHS privatised or pay at source.

Big big mistake this vote.

Not crying and I certainly hope it works out for the best. Saying that how can anyone, including those that voted leave, not be alarmed by the speed at which the backtracking is taking place?

Just watched Boris and Gove saying how much they respect Cameron and what a great leader he is (was). Some people have no shame.

As for Cameron, glad he has gone - he was a puppet PM anyway

Let the dust settle, let people get some sleep, let the markets calm down.............No-one IS going to have all the answers whilst the fall out is still settling.
The swallows are still flying around the skies, the moon hasn't collided with us just yet and the grass is still growing on a reasonable summers day. My cat wonders what all the fuss was about, it's not often I stay up all night with him !!

I didn't vote out based on that, don't know anybody who did.

Did you know that it is actually EU rules that open provision of NHS services up to competition?

Have already asked a couple of cousins in Dublin if either has a spare room for 4 political refugees! They are family, so ought to be ok. My wife now wants an Irish passport too!
