why are people arguing over this again? dont you all have a ticket already?

on the basis of having already sold 27,000 for a game that still is over a week away - i think we can assume the attendance is going to be somewhere between 30,000 - 32,000. is it really worth arguing over?

Nobody is arguing, and you have missed the point. The game has now sold out. All people are saying is that it would be good if they could restrict the away allocation (which they will not sell) so that as many city fans can get there as possible. 30-32k would be nice, but at the moment that isn't possible. That is the discussion people are having.

I agree.......Cov fans wanking over JPT ticket sales with a full minute by minute commentary, whatever next?

Ah ok, thanks for clearing up. I just want us all to get along! ;) but apparently we are anyway, so I should stop pretending to be Oprah.

And yet you took time out of your day to first read, and then post in, a thread entitled:

the official JPT home leg sales thread

If you're that bothered you could do something more interesting with your time? Just a suggestion like.

Guess you're reading this thread because you're finding daytime TV just as bad?

(TF beat me to it)

I don't know this, but my guess is half of block 9 is now being sold at the ticket office only. If anyone is up there could they clarify?
that is correct Coundon - the last block (9) is now released, but only half way. That's our lot !

There is also a possibility that Crewe are asking for more tickets.....oh, the irony....

:)

I'm certainly not, I'm at work on my lunch break.

As for arguing, certainly not, I'm just trying to establish the chain of events.

It would have been easy to miss as it only looked different for an hour or so, they opened the second half of 10 and sold it within about an hour.

I'm told this is the place to find ticket information on the JPT match vs Crewe, anybody got the latest? ;o)

Ok apologies for getting it wrong, I was out most of yesterday afternoon, I had a look in the morning, then again at 12.

So they have now opened part of block 9?

I’m looking forward to seeing the ground full of city fans.

Joking aside it's great to see the interest this has generated.......a Wembley appearance would be super for all generations, '87 is but a distant memory.

It would also be a huge catalyst for hopefully improving the crowds at The Ricoh.

random women in my family who care not for football have started coming wotu with lines such as "coventry are quite good recently arent they?" and "wembley will be exciting"

Seat 21, row 10, block 10 is still available - did you want it? :)

(Haven't logged out of the stadium view, even though the link is no longer on the tickets page)

Lets be honest, If I was a Crewe fan and reading the almost hysterical reaction from Coventry, I'd want to be at the Ricoh for this to back up my team, so in actual fact Crewe may well rally and fill their end and everyone's a winner !!!

Just been on the online shop and there are still tickets available. About half of block 9 is sold and it looks like the whole of block 9 is now available to city fans. Some singles also available in many blocks around the ground.

So if we've sold 28k, there is 500 left, 1500 corporate tickets sold that puts us at 30k by the end of the day breaking the jpt record even before you take into account whatever Crewe brings
