If people are planning to storm the pitch to get the game abandoned, the season looks screwed as it is without that shit happening!!

It's not just one post or person either, nor just on Facebook, there's lots of them, which looks like it's going to happen, people will storm that pitch, we fans are so divided and confused, this is what has become of us.

Me personally, I think it's stupid.

I couldn't agree more with the face book poster. something like that needs to happen in front of cameras so everyone knows whats happening here. and id go further and do it at every game home and away. its about time our supporters developed a spine , stood up and show every one we wont take this shit anymore. (just waiting for nick to take this thread down now)

Why would the thread be taken down?

Embarrassing. you won't get on the pitch. and even if you did, only maximum of 10 people would even bother to participate.
You'll get a ban and can fine and the game will carry on as normal.
Mass tennis balls would Work pig charlton style
Guaranteed a pitch invasion at the ricoh would stop the game for about a minute.

Grow up and stop using Facebook

Surely you believe people who are talking with facts? Maybe that's why our fans are confused if they are believing things based on a name rather than the content.

It's another "be united, do as we say" again.

Like.. Lets fill the stadium shit that some on here keep saying... It doesn't work!

To be clear invading the pitch is a criminal act - could argue some of the playing performances have been criminal too!

So outcome.......
Club and police forewarned - additional costs for club extra security, costs club not sisu
Some supporters put off going at all
Those who go on pitch get criminal records and all that means for careers etc
Those who go on pitch get banned by club from future matches - won't be protesting in any way at matches in future
Club gets fined by FL - Sisu won't pay the fines
Potential investors look at the turmoil, disruption and possible violence and decide no thanks
FL place restrictions on Ccfc games home and away.
Potential for a deal at ricoh further restricted.
Owners even less likely to interact with supporters
People who incite such a pitch invasion at risk of being arrested whether they go on pitch or not.
Given crowd numbers it is unlikely to be many doing it in any case and easily controlled. Cameras focus on other things than those running on the pitch so coverage is studio announcement of game delay.
Tv companies less likely to feature Ccfc games because of potential disruption to schedules

......... Sisu still own ccfc and still sat miles away from it all with no need to put in extra funds

Fans will see it as an option but the consequences could make a lot of things worse. This is not a good option that unites fans to feeling yes let's all do it and show the owners & sky viewers what we think. It is important/ vital to be seen as a United group...... that has been the protest weakness all along - we are not

Apologies if some think that's me being negative and not doing anything whilst Ccfc dies... Have done enough so far to have a clear conscious on that front... it's my opinion and I am entitled to think for myself just like you.

Got to be more creative and memorable with the protests & campaign.

That's why when we all throw shitbombs on the pitch on Thursday night at 7.56pm, from the Tesco Stand, blocks 17 - 22, rows A to MM, we need to make sure we don't mention anything about it on social media.

Never thought I would see the day you "defend SISU" like other people are accused of when they point things out like that! :wtf:

It won't do a thing, it is all for the likes.

I 100% agree with OSB58. At no point in his post is he defending SISU. Get off your "High Horse" Nick ffs! *Highlighted* That wasn't for "Likes" was it!

You have clearly missed the sarcasm, I didn't mean OSB was saying that for likes either.

Pitch invading will just encourage all the Danny Dyer wannabees to go hooligan. It will be embarrassing and everything we don't want to see at a football match.

Whilst I would probably be regarded on here as a 'SISU Apologist'.... This is exactly the type of thing that does need to happen to register the disapproval at the situation at our club. It's what should have happened on day one at Northampton (and I say that as someone who had a half-season ticket at Sixfields)...

I have to say this is the first protest I'd actually heartily support, as I'm a firm believer that epwhatever happens needs to be dramatic, and in numbers. Let's face it, clapping on certain minutes, coffins, and tennis balls, really are a load of bollocks.

Inter Milan fans left their Curva empty this week in the UEFA Cup, with only a painted message to the club, registering their displeasure at the way they have approached their Europan campaign this season. But next game they will fill the Curva Nord with passionate support... They have made their point, now they get behind the team.

However the fact that the CCFC Facebook group seems to be populated by a bunch of poorly educated, mouthy clowns, probably signifies that this protest will never get off the ground.

I am as pissed off as anyone but the thought of pissed up morons running onto the pitch during a game makes me feel sick that they think they are going to gain anything but negative press about Coventry supporters.
Maybe its just me in my old age.......

Of course they are Torchy.. Nobody your age would even think about it!

True. I would never think about getting arrested and my football club fined. You on the other hand are obviously planning the trip and ready to invade with the others. Give us a wave.
