To be clear invading the pitch is a criminal act - could argue some of the playing performances have been criminal too!
So outcome.......
Club and police forewarned - additional costs for club extra security, costs club not sisu
Some supporters put off going at all
Those who go on pitch get criminal records and all that means for careers etc
Those who go on pitch get banned by club from future matches - won't be protesting in any way at matches in future
Club gets fined by FL - Sisu won't pay the fines
Potential investors look at the turmoil, disruption and possible violence and decide no thanks
FL place restrictions on Ccfc games home and away.
Potential for a deal at ricoh further restricted.
Owners even less likely to interact with supporters
People who incite such a pitch invasion at risk of being arrested whether they go on pitch or not.
Given crowd numbers it is unlikely to be many doing it in any case and easily controlled. Cameras focus on other things than those running on the pitch so coverage is studio announcement of game delay.
Tv companies less likely to feature Ccfc games because of potential disruption to schedules
......... Sisu still own ccfc and still sat miles away from it all with no need to put in extra funds
Fans will see it as an option but the consequences could make a lot of things worse. This is not a good option that unites fans to feeling yes let's all do it and show the owners & sky viewers what we think. It is important/ vital to be seen as a United group...... that has been the protest weakness all along - we are not
Apologies if some think that's me being negative and not doing anything whilst Ccfc dies... Have done enough so far to have a clear conscious on that front... it's my opinion and I am entitled to think for myself just like you.
Got to be more creative and memorable with the protests & campaign.
Just be clear are you saying you are all up for a pitch invasion then?
