Try reading all the fucking posts on here and you will see. Sick of where could it be ? and people wanking over Garlicks tweet to keep people hanging in hope of nothing.

Tell me who is wanking over Garlick's posts on Twitter, because I don't see it..

Even free like CCFC shares !!

True... although free looks like a good deal for the sellers in hindsight.

Is easy to say the blindingly obvious though isn't it, that the club's been run like shit and it needs to not be run like shit if it's to survive.

Vague generalisations all a bit pointless really... unless they follow up with some actual specifics and actual *doing*.

I won't hold my breath.

Agreed. I'd much rather that they actually did something and then released a statement to say this is what we're now doing and this is the benefit to the club. They seem too happy to set themselves up for a fall, because that's how it will end up.

How many times do I have to read it to find the bit about building their own stadium...? Or selling once the club is on the rise (like that'll happen....)

they talk about being financially independant from the owner, but continue to charge us management fees of over 1m p.a ( far higher than the old rent) plus interest.
How is the club going to survive with those charges.

Maybe CCFC should go on a 'management fee strike'. Then I would start to beleive.

Improving the first team

The budget is competitive for League One. It is not simply a case of just ‘buy more and better players and the sky is the limit’, we have to ensure there is a discipline to run the business along sensible and sustainable financial lines.

The immediate goal is to improve the first team group – both across individuals and team dynamic, by recruiting players not only of the right abilities and skill sets, but also the correct character to fit the Pressley ethos.

Today, we have an imbalance in the ratio of loan to permanent players in the squad. The loan market provides an opportunity for clubs to bolster squads – however, we simply have too many loan players.

While loan players can work well there are inherent problems. The introduction of loan players from clubs which do not have the same work or stamina ethic creates injury risk. The players are not ‘game ready’ – they have not played in the first team regularly and do not have the required level of fitness.

We have identified a number of players we would want to bring in on a permanent basis and Steve Waggott is working hard to achieve that goal.

a few weeks later we sign Samuel who has played 4 league games in 3 years
