I'm starting to get nerves about it now. Just been enjoying the football so far without thinking about England.

Only Spain have impressed me so far. Couldn’t believe Portugal’s odds of at 25/1 when England at 16/1 so had a tenner on them. You just know Ronaldo can carry them with the form he showed on Friday night.

Our line up was ‘leaked’ a few nights ago

Pickford, Tripper, Walker, Maguire, Stones, Young, Henderson, Alli, Lingard, Sterling, Kane

If true Delph should feel very hard done by

Not far from Volgograd. Finishing a 23 hour train journey. Loads of Tunisians on here. Outnumbered us by 2 or 3 to 1. Decent bunch. Big game tonight. One we can’t afford to lose.

Fair play to you pal, tremendous dedication ! Just seen some footage of England fans singing somewhere in Russia from over the last couple of days and it looks like it's building up to a fantastic atmosphere. As long as the guys show respect out there to the host country and no one starts to throw shit around or try and provoke the police then it should all go fine. Just need the result now !!

Those long train journeys in Russia seem never ending, don't they?

When I met my missus for the first time over there it was a day and half train journey.

Huge country and where she is in Volgograd you can get on a bus and it can drive for an hour (without going round in circles, or doubling back on itself) and still be in Volgograd.

Huuuuge!!!!

Anyone watch the Impossible Job on BBC last night? The press did not come out of it well at all and in particular Henry Winter who has, justifiably IMO, been slaughtered on social media.

He basically admitted Big Sam was set up because the press didn't like him. The way he was smirking when talking about the press sharpening their knives for Southgate you can just tell they're hoping for him to fail so they can get stuck in.

Every former England manager on there said the same thing, that the press in this country hinder the manager.

I really enjoyed it, thought all the managers spoke very openly which surprised me.

Winter seemed to realise what he'd said and tried cover it up near the end when he said he didn't want Big Sam to get the job. There was a pause before he added "...for footballing reasons".

When I met my missus, the journey from Moscow to Kishenev was 28 hours (that was the 'express' train). The normal passenger train took 36 hours. I read a book about the German invasion of Russia; many German troops suffered from depression because the country seemed so vast. Every day they advanced, the countyside looked the same - it was as if they hadn't moved.

Are you on a tight schedule or do you have time for a look around? I'd love to see the Motherland Calls statue up close, what a sight.

The only way Sweden were going to score really.
Err.... confused the hell out of me!!

Sitting watching the game and then suddenly I see 'clear penalty' posted on here and I wonder what the hell you are all talking about.

No penalty decision at all in the game I am watching. Nothing happened at all.

Then it is said Sweden scored and I am beginning to think I am in the Twilight Zone.

Only then do I realise I paused the TV while I popped upstairs to get something for 5 mins.

Forgot all about my doing that. Only now just caught up.

That's a relief. I thought maybe I had died or something.

Both teams are poor. South Korea looked like they were playing not to concede, then give away a penalty and suddenly decide to start attacking with more than one player. Sweden are not bad in midfield but have zero goal threat.

If Sweden can somehow heat Germany and Mexico beat South Korea as expected then the Germans will be out after 2 games.

After the game just gone, if Germany lose to that Sweden they need to retire from football as a country.
