Picked my grandson up from school today. There was a woman in the playground in her fucking dressing gown!
Here we go again!

Person does something that I don't like. Person is bad.

We oldies fought the punk wars so people could wear whatever they wanted.

She's not hurting anyone. Let it go.

I’m pretty liberal but the only people I’ll accept wearing dressing gowns outside the house are boxers and Arthur Dent.
You'll be telling us next that men wearing make-up is against nature.

It's a slippery slope, taking a moral stance on how people choose to present themselves to the world.

Wear what you like, just know I’ll be judging you. And for gods sake man put on some boxers.

Don’t remember thinking she was bad.
The woman who plods round my local Sainsbury in her Hunter wellies, leaving a trail of horseshit annoys me more than the dressing gown lady.

I went to a pumpkin patch earlier to do pumpkin picking with the family and the place was full of people dressed up to the nines, some had even bought along their tiny malformed dogs, taking photos of themselves for their social media presence. I think my family were the only ones wearing wellies and taking enjoyment out of finding the biggest, smallest or most flattened pumpkins. Everyone else seemed more concerned with their image and looking down at the people who weren't dressed up like they were famous.
This country is fucked with insecure, little subordinates everywhere.
Cringe.

There's a lot of things I don't know.

But I do know I'm not one of those total fucking bellends taking streams of photos portraying a life that doesn't exist.

Opposition commentary on ifollow rather than cwr

I count that as a blessing, that way we aren't subjected to Clive getting our own players wrong whilst playing a completely random opposition

When people say " whatever you do, don't....."
Doesn't make any sense at all. We all say it though ! 😂

My absolute c**t of a boss who I have to sit by at work. She was off last Wednesday till today, as soon as she’s back the whole atmosphere changes in the office.

Even the newbie turned round today, said the atmosphere felt really tense. Nothing had gone wrong and everything running smoothly. I only work in a credit control department. Wish she would just fuck back off to where ever she’s been for the last 6 days and let us get on with our work in a decent environment.

I know this sounds easier than it is but has anyone ever mentioned it to her?

I was working in a place where one guy got promoted above his means and turned the place from a great place to work to the worse place I’ve ever worked and it’s only after the majority of us left that you realise no-one ever said anything to him, although his lack of self awareness was off the scale!!

However, everyone deserves the right to work in a comfortable environment so even if it is collectively raising it with her or even with her boss or HR etc.

You’re at work far too much of your life to put up with that shit.

Got similar at my place and there's definitely been some 'discussions' which seem to all centre around he's right and everyone else is wrong. Out of a team of less than 10 I know at least 5 people have complained about him to his boss but of course that's been ignored as well.

As I say we have a small team and its got so bad where I am that two people went off long term with stress and have decided not to come back.

I know a few people have been to HR about her, we’ve seen the director about her who has pulled her to one side and read her the riot act apparently.

She’s been on management courses and also been having to go see HR frequently regarding her performance. It’s not that the company don’t know how much of c**t she is, but she’s an absolute jobsworth who stays 2 hours extra every night and thinks she untouchable because of it.

At my old place, presenteeism was huge.

Never mind the quality of the work, look at the hours that I'm in the office for.

I work in a place where when certain people are there it's unbearable.

If they aren't, more work gets done and the atmosphere is better.

It’s doesn’t help having to sit next to the sour faced cow. Don’t think she was too impressed when she asked me this morning how everything had been in her absence , and I mentioned everything had been absolutely fine and ran like clockwork.

Almost like they expect the place isn’t able to function without them? Really is quite sad. I like to think I’m pretty good at what I do, but I also know that if I’m off for a week then the place is going to manage perfectly fine without me.

Alternatively maybe she did really just want to know how things went. She might have stuff going on nobody knows about, she might just be trying too hard to make an impression as a new person.

Maybe as a group go for drinks and invite her along so both can see a different side to the other?

Think this was raised on another board, but my current pet hate is fans going in the wrong way and going out the wrong way at the CBS toilets, just fucking read what it says on the doors
The No.1 or No.2 door?
