I will admit to not knowing what a flat white actually is. I assumed it was a white coffee - aka Americano with milk. Is that not it? Or is it with hot but not steamed milk?
Thanks !!
It's just a latte with less milk - nothing clever about it!

While we’re on coffee

People who rush around in the morning with apparently no time to make one, but will then happily go and sit 10 minutes in a drive thru for that overpriced shite.
While we're on drive thru..... Why on earth do people use them? Who wants to get a McDonald's and eat it in the car or even stink the car out with it? It's just as quick to go in.

As for drive thru coffee places

Going in can be just as frustrating now. Full of Uber eats and the like, and they always seem to be prioritised.

I don't know how you can be in full control of your vehicle if you are necking a cup of steaming liquid. I think drive-thru coffee shops should be banned!

Remember many years ago I was getting a burrito on lunch at a place in Birmingham. About 5 ahead of me in the queue but took 30 minutes because of all the deliveroo/Uber eats orders taking priority. Fair to say I had a bit of a whinge at them.

Alan Stubbs who has been critical of Everton has stopped getting free tickets from the former owner, what a shame the poor millionaire ex footballer has to pay for tickets now.

People that decide to tailgate you in appalling weather, mainly on 50 or 60 stretches. Literally, about 4ft from my bumper, with their poxy headlights dazzling me in the rear view mirror.

Just what I need, consistently, it always makes motoring such fun.

Slow down to a speed that makes it a safe distance, so like 10-15mph?

I have tried that, however it usually ends up with them overtaking dangerously. I tend to adopt the idea if it’s a 30, therefore making it safer all round.

I'll repeat, drivers who stick to 40, 50 mph regardless of speed limit. More dangerous than speeders who vary their speed, because at least I can believe they take account of conditions around them, just plough along the 60 at 45, and the 30 at 45 suggests a whole class of schoolchildren could be playing in the road, and the car'd plough through them without noticing.

People who slow down near junctions but not enough so you can go. What's the point?
This is actually recommended as good practice, I believe, so if someone doesn't look and pulls out in front of you, you have a fighting chance of stopping.

People who let people out from the side road when I’m stuck behind them waiting to turn into the side road.

People who pull out on the island by Gallagher Retail without looking because they’re far too engaged in a radio game and trying to work out Craig Revell-Horwood’s name…oops.

Is that similar to Spanish with conjugation?

like to drink
Tu bebes
Yo bebo
Nosotros bebemos

etc etc?

Right head fuck, just as you think you have got the hang of it you find some irregular verb that doesn’t follow the rules

Used, ustedes, usteden. Is another headfuck.

Funny that the English language is said to have too many words and terms for the same thing.

Have studied Spanish for a good 3ish years and the formal/informal, masc/fem usage still ties me in knots.
