Can't get my head around people who order food from Harvester and we're in a pub called George Tapps which is basically the usual shitey bar food. JustEat and Uber in and out like yoyos.

I just don't get ordering from anywhere that you wouldn't usually take away food from.

Pricks who go and watch comedy but just aimlessly shout out constantly to try and get attention.

Can see there's one in the news getting kicked out of Peter Kay, went to watch Paul Smith and it was constant with weirdos just shouting out unrelated shit .

Jimmy Carr was awful for it when I went. Clearly someone hoping to get roasted and tell their mates and it was just sad. You can’t hear 90% of what they’re shouting anyway.

Me and my wife were in miller and carter the other day and there were a few delivery drivers in and out of there as well

Flu. Completely wiped me out to the point I have struggled to walk to the kitchen.

Thinking the game on Saturday didn't help as that's when I started coughing so it makes it even worse it was a shit game.

It must be when comedians get "big" as I've never seen it at comedy clubs

People who go way ott with their kids playing football. There's a kid who plays in goal, who's parents put cameras in the net, his YouTube name on the back of his top (even though he's in a team).

The poor kid is going to get terrorised as he gets older as he can barely catch a ball.

i had to turn that off half way through, did the heckler at least get what they deserved 🫣

EDIT: Wait i just rewatched and she actually started it and then she had a wild meltdown. Kinda baffled she reposted it like she won something there
Yeah it's a bit weird.

I think originally she posted it thinking the wider world would act like (to coin a popular SBT phrase) the simps in the crowd, who were clapping and cheering her on.

Reality was, she started it and the guy in the crowd gave it back pretty unapologetically. What happened next was frankly quite a scary meltdown which wasn't remotely liberating, but actually looked psychotic. The internet then basically finished the job when this was uploaded. I believe she took it down following that, but since has then doubled down again.

Not being able to identify music from videos. My gratitude to anyone who can name what's in the backing track to this

People on social media and valentine's day. Are they ok?

Still find it weird people get their kids involved.

I think the English origin is Spanish, which is more similar to the American pronunciation.

im never sure about this. We don’t go around telling other countries they’re pronouncing words started in English wrong. But the Yanks speak English not American so I feel like we can tell them they’re wrong.

Like no one says “Uh it’s koekje not ‘cookie’” than you very much. Seems weird which ones were picked up on.

I did read somewhere that the accent and I assume some of the pronunciations in the US are more similar to old English than modern English.

I do! Many English words are used in Italian now and if I say them 'correctly', they're not understood most of the time, so I have to resort to Italianising them during conversation. The only one I refuse to is badge, which is pronounced as beige.

Does Italian borrow much? Dutch seems to have basically given up new words and just uses English ones pronounced dutchified. “Wiffy” for WiFi being a favourite of mine.

Yes, it's fairly common these days and I still cringe having to use the Italian pronunciation - there's also the American English influence, so A can sound like E and then because the way Italian is, they pronounce every letter of the word.
