All this ‘you love to see it’ I’m seeing on Twitter or wherever. I’d love to see it disappear and whoever started the new bullshit fad punched in the gob!

It's taken over from inject it into my veins and just as pathetic as "fans of the following are top shaggers" to try and get likes.

Adverts that say 'everyone's talking about...' when I'm not and nobody I know has ever mentioned it or gives a shit.

Also an advert for WD40 that claims it removes carpet stains. No it doesn't, I now have a much bigger stain and an hour of my life I'm never getting back. If I ever drop a naked flame anywhere near it the whole block will probably explode too.

People who recline there seats on an airplane you gain about an inch but piss the person behind you off, and people who stand right close to the luggage carousel so no one can see just stand back and walk up when you see yours come out, you end up having to push people out the way

I think EasyJet have got it bang-on by removing the recline button. Their new slimmer seats give an inch or so extra legroom (it matters when you have a 33" inside leg!), and are perfectly comfy for a short-haul to Europe, etc.

These are the 2 things I'm not looking forward too, have a 22 hour flight in a couple of months and I just know I'm going to be stuck in a middle seat, with a recliner in front.

Etihad Airways have poor reviews for their seat comfort and leg room on both their A380 and 787 flights. It's going to be a long 22 hours.

What about the adverts in Europe that say "It's all the rage in the USA" and the adverts in the USA say "It's all the rage in Europe".
And the fact is it's not popular anywhere.

Have a look on here: Airline Seat Maps, Flights shopping and Flight information- Best Airplane Seats - SeatGuru

Sometimes you can find seats that have a bit more legroom and then pay a few quid with your airline to book that seat.

I flew with Ryanair to Prague recently and noticed the leg room on their plane has improved. There's no recliner and they've also taken out the big pockets on the back of the seats. I felt much more comfortable.

I flew from New York with Norwegian air and the leg room was pathetic which wasn't helped by the two tossers in front who reclined. 8 hours of hell.

I was offered the option too choose my seats when booking, but I thought it was a bit of a rip off. £45 from Heathrow - Abu Dhabi then they wanted an additional £35 for Abu Dhabi - Brisbane. Then the same prices on the return journey.

Compared to other airlines Etihad are quite poor, I’m afraid. Best one I’ve been on yet is Singapore Airlines.

Airlines are scum of the earth. Asking for more money to sit in a seat you've already paid for.

I've noticed that they will deliberately split up anyone booked under one name nowadays to scare you into choosing your seat the next time.

I flew Etihad a few years ago and it was fine, you'll stop in Abu Dhabi anyway

Always book the back seats on a plane now so I can recline without the hassle. Often find that the seats at the back are only a 2 as well rather than 3, which is decent storage space.

Off to Florida next year and genuinely thought about paying for a Business Class upgrade. Can’t really afford it so have opted not to, but done it once before and it was such a step up in quality.

Having travelled premium economy the other year to the states, I did find that so much more luxurious for the distance, had air miles, not sure I could pay all the time for that though.

Problem with being at the back is the line of mouth breathers that can’t keep out of the bog on the flight to get rid of the lager they swilled at 3am
In the morning just hanging by your seat as you are trying watch a film or sleep

We thought we were smart booking the two seats at the back coming home from NYC. But the inside seat wasn’t as close to the wall so you couldn’t lean your head against it. What I don’t like is how cold the plane gets on an overnight flight.

It's a long shot but when you're checking your bags in mention to the airline rep who is checking you in that it's your wedding anniversary, birthday or whatever and if there are free seats in business / first class they have been known to give a free upgrade. The same works in hotels sometimes.

My brother in law annoys me, born in Coventry but speaks with an Irish ( begorrah and bejaysus accent) can’t drink more then 4 pints without getting drunk and making a tool of himself
He genuinely thinks the world owes him a living , was in charge of a lovely pub in town and living rent free in it so put his house out to rent and had a double income but spent more time in every other pub in the town centre
Got the sack and it was everyone else’s fault

Being a nervous flyer isn’t as irrational as some make out tbh. About 6 miles high in an aluminium tube, yeah I do feel pretty precarious tbh! If it goes badly wrong that’s your lot I guess, I’ve seen Castaway!!

I’ve calmed down as I’ve got older. Serious turbulence will have me alarmed, which I think I’ve only experienced once when I was younger. But hitting a little pocket of wind and feeling a quick rumble isn’t much worse than going down the M40 and having a side wind hit you. What makes me laugh is the mrs gripping my hand when that happens, then telling everyone at home we had bad turbulence. A couple of rums usually takes the edge off.

I always get a little nervous on take off and landing because that's the time when most planes crash but once in the air I'm fine.

I fly a lot for my job so pretty blasé about now but although me me and the Missus have travelled a good bit she is still a nervous flyer.

Without fail as soon as the wheels hit the runway when landing I see my Missus’s foot tread straight down as in her head she is putting the brake on.

Never fails to amuse me.

Few of them in cov, it's quite funny. The sort of people born here that call Ireland 'home'. Bizarre.

Was once flying back from Japan and as we got close to Heathrow we hit major turbulence. The woman next to me, who I didn't know, was terrified and gripping my hand so tight I thought she was going to break it.

Then there was a loud bang, looked out the window and one of the engines was on fire with smoke billowing out of it.

To top it all off when we came in to land (an engine on fire is a good way to avoid having to wait in the stack for ages) there were army vehicles and troops near the runway. Turns out while we'd been in the air it had all kicked off with Iraq and Heathrow was on high alert as they had intel of a pending terrorist attack.

Was quite disappointed we didn't have an emergency exit and get to use the slide.
