Are you going to go?
No thanks !!!
The current nopm plan is working fine !!!!
Sisu are in disarray which Im sure your disappointed with but that's the way it goes !!!
The practical problem with your suggestion is most aren't going because of NOPM or whatever, but because it's not convenient, they can't just stroll up or hop on a local bus.
So not sure it's possible to get the numbers there regularly to make it effective.
Theres a core of 3/4000 that would not step foot in Sixfields for a home game.
I agree that is probably correct but I think without a return by may we may be gone.
Not sure "most" are not going due to inconvenience. I think a significant number are in a category of could go but just think it is wrong and so are showing that by non attendance. This does not have to be any banner - NOPM, KCIC etc.
I have a hypothesis to consider. Now, I know there is a risk this will descend into the normal name calling but I am putting it out for discussion (I'm sure someone else once mentioned it actually)
NOPM will not work - gates are lower than expected, an apparent "improved" offer to return is rejected and not even offered directly.
Sisu resent the councils clumsy attempts to remove them, ACL and the council clearly despise the current owners.
We are no nearer to returning than on day one.
So, what can be done? We could be looking at this from the wrong angle. We are in Northampton but do the local public even know we are there?
Imagine if we did regularly get a full house there? Imagine if it was over subscribed? No parking, public transport and railway station full every other week. Regular escorts of fans from town ino the stadium. Suddenly to the non football fans in the community we become a nuisance and the community in turn will pressurise their council and club to end the deal. In turn this would make ground share in other towns difficult.
It's high risk but something has to be done. Other strategies are failing. Noisy protests could also continue in the ground itself.
Back on planet earth this will of course not happen but if it had from the start and it proved legistucally impossible to hold the games with general disturbance issues it may have had a more positive effect than the doomed NOPM campaign.
This is music to the ears of RFC!, i'm sure Fravs loves it too :jerkit:
I think a better Idea would be for the 7-8K that don't go descending on the FA headquarters would get our message over better ,might even get support from other supporters through Supporters Direct
How do you mean time is running out?
Are you saying that you think sisu will liquidate the football club if they don't get the Ricoh?
It's not too inconvenient for me to go I just think its absurd to be playing there. However, time is I think running out
There will be no new ground and its highly questionable that we will renew our lease at Sixfields next season either. If this was made a no option scenario before the end of the season then there may some hope of a deal struck.

Almost certainly.
Surely that would be done out of spite by sisu? I assumed they would get more money for the club by getting what they could for it then walking away.Almost certainly.
Typically juvenile contribution - its not working at all or they would be back.
NOPM, call it what you will is working. We will see a sub 1,000 gate this season. Sisu will be losing considerable amounts of money. Us fans know this.
Sisu like to make money, their investors will not be happy bunnies.
The boycott is working.
This packing the Northampton ground out (with a peaceful disruptive protest) might have worked earlier in the season, but CCFC fans have turned their backs on this. Be it through apathy, downright hostility, you tell me. That time has gone.
We really, really missed a chance in not descending on the football league first day of the season. It came to something when a Northampton fan was prime agitator to get us to do that!
Not too late, but a bit of time spent finding the best day to pop down, building awareness and anticipation of such an event, getting the message right...
No reason you couldn't take a fair few. if 7,000 fancy a day out in milton keynes, surely 4,000 fancying a day out in London isn't unreasonable if done peoperly?
