The debate on ST holders and extra tickets is always interesting. At 8pm tonight, ticket touts can buy and profit out of fans. We’re not a Liverpool, Manure or Arsenal but look at the profits touts make on the ST’s and individual tickets they have.

I know it’s an odd one and something we would have ever thought about as a city fan but the reality is that people could buy tonight with a view to making a profit versus a ST holder buying for a friend (who may go little, may go often, but has probably been at some stage and can do so at cost, not at a profit to a tout who isn’t a fan)

Just a different perspective to it all and good luck to those at 8 tonight.

Playing devils advocate, but couldn't a season ticket holder also act as a pseudo tout with their preferred access to extra tickets?

Let’s be clear. What you said was out of order and her pulling you up on it was fair enough, in fact to be welcomed.
fwiw generally for a football forum I think this place is largely pretty decent and respectful. I don’t go to the off topic stuff so Lord knows what goes on there…

That’s fair enough however the majority will be for what I mentioned or their wives who spend all season moaning that their husbands spend Saturdays watching 22 grown men kicking a football.

You and others are making a lot of assumptions. My brother has a season ticket, I go to 5-10 games a season with him, he used his extra for me. I'm not the first person on here with that kind of story. Feels like some folks just want a whinge. It's only a (possible) problem because we've got loads of season ticket holders!

Got our tickets (ST holders) but did the ticketfast (print at home/on phone) option instead of the "send to card" as I wanted a physical copy....just incase anything fooked up on the night with card readers!

I got your point, and I agree. Hoping to find seats in good positions myself.
I was only making an (admittedly flat) jokey response to you saying the tickets would be 'all over the ground'.
