Back on topic.........watched the video and spoken to some mates via phone and text. From the video I know at least three blokes seen in it, excluding TF. 2 of the three are known amonsgt other fans (maybe unfairly) to stick up for Fisher and the owners more than most - it seems they stepped in when some yobs started aggressively asking very helpful questions like "why are you killing our club Tim?" (move over Martin Bashir) , but did so in a way that inflamed things more. Don't forge that there were just some scummy people nearby who got involved, never mind pro- or anti-SISU.
All in all, some aggro at a train station doesn't seem worth 9 pages on a thread, and nor does TF catching a train seem to warrant a situation that flares up to the point where 2 lads at least get punched in the face (from what I know privately). TF has got a lot to answer for, but it has to be in a way were (as I have in the past) you approach him in a civil manner and ask questions in a logical and insightful way, no simply spit bile at the bloke.
I do understand why people want to vent their frustration but please don't do it in an aggressive way; yes, the bloke gets people's backs up due to his perceived haughty and non-apologetic manner, and for his non-recognition of his many failures including the catastrophic decision to tear up the Ricoh lease following the negotiations he bundled through his "bull in a China shop" negotiation style and general lack of trustworthiness.....but none of that will be exposed or highlighted if fans just call him names. He is bang to rights on so many topics, including the laughable attempt to create a rent negotiation level by pretending we'll move to a new stadium, that it really is a missed opportunity if fans just yell at him. Plus the bloke, despite his failures, doesn't deserve physical confrontation - nobody does. The bloke's entitled to get a train without twats screaming at him - but it also really does stick in the gut when people will defend him and stick up for him after he's steered the club to the sorry state it is in today.
