Time to put pressure on SISU? (1 Viewer)

I imagine SISU might be open to selling to Ashley, as him buying ACL means they won't have to put their hands in their pockets to pay out themselves. I can't see Ashley not wanting control of the football club, as the club's profile will bring wider attention to the arena as a whole. The 8 years left on the rental contract at the CBS gives SISU some leeway timewise though, and as such gives them a decent bargaining position to extract a bigger pay off from Ashley. The problem for us fans is that Ashley doesn't look the type to lie down and get his belly tickled by SISU, so there could be some hard bargaining that could stretch over a long period of time before any deal is done. I'm still naively hoping that contrary to reports Ashley & SISU have been or are in contact, because if not this could drag on for years, while we remain with owners only looking at keeping the club running with minimal investment.

Was the 10 year rental contract agreement with the The Wasps and any new stadium owners coming in is now likley invalid right? especially now ACL is calling in the administrators? Mike Ashley is not obliged to hold up to this rental contract I don't think hence why SISU were looking at backup plans earlier to find somewhere else to play. Who know??

Just fed up of this shit. I’m only 29 and all I’ve known is us being riddled with controversies and shit.

Just want to support a normal club that doesn’t worry about where they’ll be playing each year.
Fuck me I’ve got 40 years on you and that’s about 35 years of crap, it’s been part and parcel of being a Cov fan.

Think you will have to support someone else but your days would be dead boring.

I don't know for definite but I thought it stood, and only liquidation could change that. The back up plans to play somewhere else was more to do if the Administrator did not keep enough people on for the stadium to run events, rather than whether the terms of the agreement stood. That was my understanding anyhow.

No, only if ACL are liquidated or the council do what they’ve just said they won’t and try and take the lease back as it states they can.

If this prepack deal goes through all subleases would stand. CCFC will be paying the same rent for at least the next 8 years.

I think it still stands. it is an asset of ACL or whatever company ends up with those assets. It is just changing ownership of the head lease really to which the sub leases are attached.

I dont think anyone coming in can change the terms of the lease, unless the lease contract with CCFC provides for that. So long as CCFC pay the rent i think the terms stand.

Of course there maybe a term in the current lease CCFC have that allows a review of the amount after say 5 years that could be possible

Mrs BSB is the same age and asks me why she had to get married to a CCFC fan and then hooked on the club. I politely reminded her that before she came along to her first game against Shrewsbury in the first L1 season that she didn't have to go and she was given fair warning about the club.

She now hides behind the toy Sky Blue Sam when we're defending a lead

My missus is the same to be fair.

As shit as it gets sometimes, wouldn’t change my club for anything and will support them no matter what.
