He requested solitary because he was put in a high risk prison full of Islamic extremists. He should have gone to low risk prison given the nature of the offence and he wouldn't then have had to go into solitary.
The threatening letter was pushed under his prison door by another inmate. It wasn't face to face.
See belowso in the same week senior tories have been meeting with Steve Bannon they simultaneously trying to silence Tommy Robinson?
Well see above nowSee below

What the fuck are you on about ?
If the government want to shut him up how have they achieved that by giving him the highest exposure of his life?
They don't want him to have exposure, this is all egg on their faces. They hate it. The bigger he gets the harder it becomes for him to just disappear. I genuinely think we'll all wake up one day and he'll have been murdered during the night. He's been wrongfully arrested numerous times, and sued before because of the fact. I'd say watch this video so you can understand a bit more of the tactics the police use to silence and restrict someone, but your agenda is already set in stone, I guess.
Ultimately, any person who can't be happy that someone who was wrongfully imprisoned is tonight back with his kids and wife, is a tit.

I wasn't having a go at him. Can't see why the case wouldn't be brought to trial, the judge today sent it back to Crown Court to be tried, by a different judge to the one who originally tried it. On what basis are you expecting someone to step in and stop the legal process playing out?If the case isn't brought to trial or he is found not guilty, I have no doubt that useful idiots like you will find another excuse to have a go at him.

Given that Robinson has already admitted his guilt it will surely be a fairly quick trial prior to a new sentence being given. The judge today stated 'the alleged contempt was serious and the sentence might be longer than that already served'.
As I asked someone else earlier who didn't answer, do you really think that in the same week senior tories met with Steve Bannon there is simultaneously a plot to silence Tommy Robinson? Get a grip.

Him being arrested and being sent to prison was always going to give him maximum exposure. To suggest that the authorities somehow didn’t realise this is ridiculous. He’s got exactly what he wants, a platform and people willing to believe anything that he says regardless of how ridiculous that is and how unfounded it is in any fact at all.
You chat some shit. You really think he wanted to be sent down? Miss his kids. Miss the World Cup. If he had done wrong he wouldn’t be freed today. Very clueless

What lol because some stands up against a serious threat which is against the grain of 2018 Britain then he’s self centred? He stands up for a lot of working class people who have no political party to associate with now. If he was that self centred and attention seeking as you say, why did he refuse to speak to the main stream media on leaving prison? He blanked them. Surely that would have been his platform for attention. Instead he walked away. Not a sign of attention seeking to meHe is a self centred individual. If you think he’s about anything other than receiving attention then I’m afraid you’re the clueless one. He’s an attention seeker. Nothing more nothing less.

The judge says it’s up to the Attorney General whether to go to retrial. Are you the Attorney General? No so why have you already jumped the gun?
I have no idea what transcript you've read so I couldn't tell you but the filed judgement for the hearing today states:Have you read the same transcript as me? The judge said the ruling was wrong and should not have been jailed in the first place! If you can’t read the transcript then watch this video.Come back to me after this. Doubt you will
his having accepted on both occasions that he was in contempt of court
the appellant has no legitimate complaint about what occurred in Canterbury Crown Court
we are satisfied that the finding of contempt made in Leeds following a fundamentally flawed process, in what we recognise were difficult and unusual circumstances, cannot stand. We will direct that the matter be reheard before a different judge.
We allow the appeal and remit the matter to be heard before a different judge. There is no requirement that it be heard in Leeds (the Crown Court is a single court sitting in many places.
Obviously I'm not a lawyer but that reads to me that he has admitted the contempt on both occasions and the Leeds case is to be retried as soon as possible. The appellant will be granted bail pending the rehearing. The bail will be conditional. We order that he is not to approach within 400 metres of Leeds Crown Court. The rehearing will be conducted by the Recorder of London at the Central Criminal Court as soon as reasonably possible.
Appeals to this Court against any order or decision of a court in the exercise of its jurisdiction to punish for contempt of court are brought under section 13(2) of the Administration of Justice Act 1960. Leave is not required, but the appeal must be brought within 28 days (section 18A of the Criminal Appeal Act 1968) unless time is extended by the court. The challenge to the Leeds finding of contempt is 20 days out of time. With respect to all issues arising from the Canterbury committal, the applications are over a year out of time. The approach to an extension of time to bring an appeal under section 13(2) should be no less rigorous that when considering a similar question in a criminal appeal.
To film or to talk?
Lawyers and a judge have already repeatedly explained how he could have affected the trial. Google it.
Maybe he is a racist. The people he is after are of a different skin colour.
Who are they?
He repeated an offence which threatened the outcome of a trial. He knew what would happen and had been told by a judge in a previous case why that would happen.
What is unfair about that?
And, yes, I have looked at the caliber of some of the people that follow him. Pretty frightening.
Not the way I read it earlier. It seems that he did indeed admit the offence, via his legal representation as it appears contempt doesn't have a formal plea in court.
The issue is the technicalities of the process so the trial will be run for a second time.
Interestingly the judge today said that could well lead to an increased sentence so this might not turn out to have been the best course of action. Although it keeps him in the spotlight which I suspect is his main aim.

What I'm struggling to make sense of is why the appeal was allowed given the case was past the cut off point for appeal.
He didn’t speak to the mainstream because helps his persona of the victim at the centre of a conspiracy. The mainstream also isn’t his platform. They challenge too much. He prefers a media where he doesn’t have to answer questions and will gain a following of the back of his own word.
Just because there is one exception, it doesn't mean that it is the rule. It wouldn't at all surprise me if that meeting had something to do with his release to be completely honest.
What's coming out is that the trial was rushed and he didn't have time to defend himself properly. Some of us knew this, others choose to ignore it because they were quite happy for him to be banged up regardless.
That speech posted above is pretty interesting, and whilst it is clear the bloke can be a bit of an idiot, one would be a fool not to accept that he has tried to be silenced several times.
This prison sentence he got was almost instantly after he posted a video which was investigating a high number of hit and runs which look like they were terrorist attacks we never heard about, and were swept under the carpet. I don't suppose that was a complete coincidence.
I get a lot of people don't like him, I don't really either. A lot of what he says is true though, and I wish other more reasonable and moderate voices had to balls to speak up, and were allowed to. It would keep debate fairer and cut out the nazi/racist scum who give the rest a bad name.
Lol so how is that attention seeking?
Erm every time he’s been on mainstream media he has held his own but gets shouted out until he can’t win. He’s great at answering questions. Few examples for you
like I said chatting shit
This was taken 7 years ago and he must have predicted the future. What he said was correct
It was OnleyAgain bollocks. The prison is not of high enough category to house extremists for one. He went to the prison that serves Luton and fell within his category rating. The Muslim population of the prison reflects that and nothing else. He arrived at the prison when inmates are locked up so how exactly did an inmate slip a letter under his door? That’s before you even get into the fact that he never went on a wing where prisoners are allowed out to walk the landing.

Judges do not normally say anything at all against each other. So there has been a serious breach. And how long has he been trying to get an appeal off the ground?
Doesn't seem to be one of the best people you will ever meet. But there is much worse out there walking the streets.
Then you consider how he was sentenced. Picked up in the morning. Sentenced in the afternoon. No chance for a legal team to put up a defence. Even murderers who admit their guilt get the chance to put a defence together.
Something certainly not right here. Try looking past the person and look at the method used. It doesn't sit well with me.
It was Onley
There certainly wasn't something right in the Leeds case, which is why he was freed pending a retrial.
Remember he also appealed the Canterbury decision but that was upheld.
The BBC will be rubbing their hands with glee now they have someone to alternate with UKIP on their politics programmes.
Robinson will do far more to obstruct justice than deliver it - the self righteous, attention seeking prick that he is.

Some bloke on twitter says he’s got an exclusive about his hell and torture in prison which is released tomorrow.
