Who would you expect to replace them?
No one in their right mind would agree to what ACL are demanding, and you can be sure that any potential investor would seek a similar deal like SISU are currently doing. As it has been said many times, i am sure some would suddenly change their viewpoint.

Sisu agreed to it in 2007.
ACL are "demanding" that the club accept a ridiculously generous two thirds cut in rent....stop pretending that it's not SISU who is being unreasonable.
I really don't see what else ACL can do.
Only in Coventry would you have supporters who are siding with a quango over the best interests of their football club.
That's idiotic. Those of us who voiced doubts about them were branded traitors. I presume a lot of the most anti-sisu posters were once the most pro-sisu.

So why aern't you and other encouraging or even demanding that ACL issue a winding up order on the club? They have had 12 months to do it,what's holding them back.If the club don't pay up,you get rid of SISU which is presumbably what you want."The best interests of our football club" involve setting out deliberately to screw over a council and a charity who have in the past stepped in with millions of pounds of emergency funding to prevent us being homeless. Why would you want a taxpayer-funded council to subsidise the actions of a Mayfair hedge fund?
Unless you think that CCFC is entitled to a pretty much free council-provided stadium, you must by definition agree with what I have written above.
I take it these can't be done until a conclusion to the Ricoh row is sorted?
That's idiotic.
Even if they were "pro Sisu" are you saying people cannot or should not change their mind? Explain.
In any case people wanted to believe that Sisu had saved the club, indeed this is what we were told.
You'd have to be pretty warped to think that Sky Blue fans wouldn't be happy with those who were being portrayed as having "saved" the club.
You make no sense - Sick Boy - no sense whatsoever.:jerkit::jerkit::jerkit:
When they arrived, they promised a lot.
Since then, most intelligent people have realised that they cannot be trusted, they don't do what it says on the tin.
What was it that Fisher promised at the start of the season? "The accounts will be filed properly this time and there will be no embargo in March". We've been force fed my BS by our eteemed 'owners'
I don't think any kudos are due to one having "doubts" or "suspicions". When SISU came in, they prevented the club from going into administration (and a potentially bleak outcome), put money into signing players, paid a fair wedge to get Coleman as the manager, and so forth. Nobody would have been wrong at that time to say they were doing well.
They may not have turned out to be the best owners in the world, but I do find some of the criticism to be rabid and unwarranted. The way I see it, SISU continue to pay the bills that few others - if anyone - would be willing to pay. This was the case with their predecessors and, in all likelihood, any successor. So I'm just glad to have a club. If the fans regrouped and packed out that stadium, I daresay everybody would win. The polarisation I just do not understand.
So let me get this right, Fisher say ACL are bust, yet CCFC fail to file their accounts, and will blame ACL for the legal action. I understood ACLs accounts were also due to be filed, my guess is thy will have filed theirs, and guess what I bet they are far from bust, need to check tomorrow. Can hear Fishers spin saying its all ACLs fault because of their legal orders, truth is Miss Seppala will not provide financial support for a going concern for next financial year. Look forward to reviewing who is bust tomorrow, and how Fisher explains his screw up.
That's a pretty fair assessment. All in all, bringing everything to mind I'd say you've nailed it there. Spot on.:claping hands::guitar2::claping hands::guitar2:
I will ignore your predictable and petty 'wanker sign'.
There were a few posters on various forums who pointed out what we were getting ourselves into, yet a lot chose to ignore all of this and not listen. Some even went as far as scoffing at Southampton and how lucky we were to have 'hard-nosed' businessmen running our club. We were taken over by a hedge fund, what else did they expect to happen.
If more people had engaged their brains, rather than believing whatever they were told at the time, maybe we wouldn't be in this mess?
A lot of people assumed that they would pump endless money into the club though...this was obviously not going to happen! A lot of our supporters do seem to expect someone else to waste their own money on the club though.
The biggest mistakes were made by those running the club on their behalf when they came into the club. Yet some of these are still held in high regard by some supporters.
Of course ACL will file theirs - so would SISU if the council lent them £20 million over an unstated term at no doubt a very paltry interest rate.
I hold the previous boards ten times more culpable for our situation than SISU.
And what about the £45m from SISU which was so very skilfully managed, I know who has the better covenant and who I would trust. Look forward to reviewing the CCFC going concern, sadly it won't happen and therefore SISU will have turned destroyed 130 years of history
Couldn't agree more. We are where we are not because of SISU but because of people like Richardson and McGinnity. Ably assisted by Robinson, Hover and Elliot. They should all be ashamed.
Robins has far from a secure contract.. He's been given a rolling agreement by Huddersfield.. Things go wrong for him and they can bin him with no pay off
