No, its just clear that our owners dont give a stuff and only care for the profit margins, the more they get the better, do they care what the fans think? No? They own the club its theirs to do with what they wish, and I imagine they wont give much to Robins to reinvest
You're posting nonsense then. Thanks.

Enlighten me because last time I checked our owners preferred to keep large amounts the money generated rather than allow big reinvestments
Since League two, our big sales appear to have been McNulty and Bayliss. The money was reinvested into Chaplin and then onto Godden.

The money we receive appears to go fully back into supporting the club operations, the only money that goes out appear to be interesr payments on the loans

Wouldn't personally be too disappointed if we sold Hamer even though I love him. Its always felt like we are a stepping stone into the prem for him based on his previous comments, whereas Gyok and especially Cal both feel more like they belong here a bit more

Say the deal is 7.5m, Robins will see about 1.5m of that, what will that get us, a replacement which may flop at low value, Im sorry but with our owners track record I wouldnt be confident
Considering MR was able to sign Hamer for £1.5m without any sales what in gods green earth makes you think if we made a £7.5m sale he’d only get £1.5m?

We sold nobody last summer and paid good fees for Gyokeres and Sheaf. It’s madness to think if we make significant profits we won’t have more to play with.

I’d hazard a guess, Robins would see half of it. But it could go towards a new contract for Gyokeres and O’Hare, rather than whole sale signings, after next season they’ll both only have 1 year left. The rest would keep the club comfortably solvent.

Minor comment but I think the Hamer and Walker signings were probably help by Callum Wilson sell on fee that summer. Hopefully Robins will get a hefty chunk of any sales fee for Hamer or Vik.

If we sell Hamer, reinvest across the squad and keep the other 2 you can’t moan really.

It depends who comes in really. Some of the names being thrown about in the last couple of weeks aren't very inspiring.

If Hamer gets sold for a large fee then there is no excuse for us to then have anything other than the strongest squad we've ever had. Maybe that's even worse expectation wise.

Nizon doesnt actually mention any of our players been sold. Someone mentioned earlier the question if Maddison was moving. If he moves the money we get frkm him could provide lots of funding.

Do I think Hamer or Vik will move, yes I do. Hamer has made it clear he wants to play in the Premiership. Vik could do with another year with us, as at times he can be wasteful in front of goal but if he has a good summer his price will rise considerably and maybe that is when we should cash in.

I get from MR remarks that we have players agreed in principal and others we are waiting on answers from. These will already been offered deals and already factored into next seasons budget.

Obviously, if those deals come off and he still wants more signings, he will have to look at the current squad to generate that money. I honestly don't see or believe other avenue's of investment are forthcoming, so an outs before in situation happening, could be the clubs only other option. If so, you look to the bottom of your squad and try to move them on. If that is proving to be to hard or its not generating enough money to reinvest the top of your squad will become the focus.

At the bottom of your squad you may need 2 or 3 out to get 1 quality player in. At the top of your squad you may need 1 out to get 2 in equally as good if not better than what you have. All this is time sensitive which brings problems if you are on a tight budget, the longer it goes the harder it gets. And that's when mistakes are made or rash decisions bite you on the arse. We have seen both of these things happen in recent times and none end well.

Anyway, we will soon have enough to discuss as i still think it will be a busy summer. Just need 1 to drop them others will follow out and in for sure.

Nah, we’ll be mid table again but if what Nixon is saying correct then doubt we can progress much further

There's always been turnover at all clubs. Mane's leaving Liverpool. If you went back every 3 years at our club, the team would look different pretty much every time.

Liverpool sold Coutinho for loads and that allowed them to bring in better players across their whole squad too

We won’t know what we will get for players. It won’t be properly reported and even if a maximum is quoted we won’t know what terms and conditions apply

We'll drive a hard bargain though
We're in the driving seat with all the players who are likely to be in demand on contracts with a decent period left
Difficult to see why anyone should be upset about this
It's the same at virtually all clubs
And at least our best players can't walk away for nothing as they can at a good number of other clubs where their contracts are expiring on 30th June

I was told by an apparent itk a bit back of a player on the move from here not one of the three constantly mentioned all the time. Be interesting if it happens as I was also told who’s replacing him deal done and that would be interesting. I’ll leave you all to ponder with that.

I'd guess Simon Moore would be one who'd be interesting to quite a few clubs

It’s not exactly the same at most clubs

Hamer out for a decent fee, with that reinvested in a couple of high calibre, well thought of talented players. Plus retaining COH and Gyokeres.

And offloading Waghorn, Kane, Walker which allows for further incoming.

I’d be happy with that outcome.

Im pretty sure thats what is going to happen aswell

Wouldn’t be that concerned if Rose or Moore went.

Moore is a solid keeper, but probably made better by the plethora of average keepers we had previously. I’m sure we can find an equivalent if not better. I would like to keep him, but if he goes then it isn’t the end of the world.

Rose has been inconsistent again, predominately as he can’t stay fit. Not sure he’s a stand out defender either. I think he has a lot more to give and certainly has the potential to improve. But if we get a decent offer I would let him go.

This wouldn’t have been down the Higgs by any chance would it?

Agreed.

SISU stuff is boring. But hey, people need an enemy and now it’s off season and we can’t choose a boy boo from the playing staff, it’s back to the default SISU out stuff. Weird NOPM hasnt been a thing since the team started doing well.
