Not a bad window overall. Didn't lose anybody we didn't want to and have added some depth to the squad, along with players coming back from injury.

Hopefully the new loanees will kick on once they're settled in as well

Good window as far as I'm concerned. Should have no problems staying up ready to see what the summer brings where we can make a big sale or stick to the principle of building a core spine of player's for a million here or there.

Huddersfield have signed keeper Tomas Vaclik for an undisclosed fee on a contract until the end of the season.

Depending how he plays, if he’s any good we should sign him at the end of the season when Huddersfield go down.

Impressive CV

An impressive window to cap an impressive month. Despite many posts of doubt in has come Doug King kept his word despite plenty of dissenters on here regarding not selling our better players and giving Robins license to draft in players, we’ve brought in three on loan, one with plenty of championship experience permanently. Even better within a month he has got rid of the ball and chain around our ankles for years, sisu and to top that toxic Tim, gone.
We are debt free too. Although having to endure post after post of Viks going here, there, anywhere guess what ? he’s still here, having swatted away any interest in him and in others according to Dave Boddy, just imagine the state our squad would have been in had Joy Sepalla was still at the helm. I’ve got a feeling in my water this is just the beginning and the future is as bright as it’s been for decades.
Long live the King.

Chris Martin released by Bristol City.

I know we were reportedly after him before he joined BC. Could be a stop gap to the end of the season.

Could be another Wagehorn, though he was excellent for them last season so has better recent form than Waggy.

Don't need him. We have 4 strikers available now and only play with 1 most the time

He was a decent player at one stage but he's slower than Godden now. Wouldn't be surprised if he headed back to Derby.

So, looking at the squad so far for next season we have :

GK - Wilson / Moore
RWB -
RCB -
CB -
LCB -
LWB - Bidwell / J.Burroughs
CDM - Sheaf / Eccles
CM - Hamer / Allen
CAM - O’hare / Palmer
ST - Gyokeres / Godden / Tavares

so for me I’d extend Rose and Fadz’s contracts by 1 year each. Exercise the 1 year option on Dabo and keep him as a back up. Then I’d look to sign Cresswell, and a LCB maybe Kourtney Hause, then loan in a RWB maybe Bali Mumba. Then maybe I’d look to sign Siriki Dembele for the attack can play either as a striker, AM, CF or on the wing if we go to a 433. Maybe 2 more loans in Evan Ferguson ST and Stefan Bajcetic CDM. Just ideas

I'm not sure I'd call it an impressive window. An OK one, sure, but I don't think we can at this point say it's impressive.

It's great we didn't sell anyone important, and McNally looks like a very good acquisition for CB. The two young WB's could go either way at the moment and Maguire is another who could prove an excellent foil for Vik. But he could also turn out to be no more effective than Waghorn.

He is? Well, I hadn’t wanted him, then I had after he started so well for them and we seemed a little desperate.
Good strong defender but the wrong side of 30 and had a serious injury.

That's got me wondering how much CCFC have spent on transfers in our entire history?
