Not bringing in, approached Man City with an offer to loan him in and they're interested so he gets game time and a hefty loan fee is involved. This would be like when Sunderland signed Amad Diallo
I wonder if it's the same ITK who told me about £15 million from Southampton for O'hare
Do you know who's Bobb agent is?

Oscar Bobb is another of a number of players in the PL approaching 21 who have to get into the 25 man first team squad where only 17 can be non home grown and at least 8 have to be “home” grown British basically, and only 8 can be loaned out and that’s reducing.
As for Bobb certainly looks a good player but who wouldn’t alongside the superstars at Man City but can’t see Robins agreeing to any stipulation that he has to play Bobb every match.

Robins could be thinking its not such a bad clause as he will most likely sub him on anyways due to Tats and Wright getting tired and letting them rest, unless he starts

I think if we signed Bobb we'd want him to play every match 🤣

I mean fair fucks if its true. 7 figures for a loan doesn't really seem like us but maybe we see an opportunity to go up this season and we're going for it.

Exactly, Robins sees this could be the year with the form we’re in and he know we are in need of a winger

As I said Bobb looks a fine player probably good enough to go straight into the first team but I can’t see Robins allowing a gun to his head signing any player.
If Robins is chasing the signing he'll know of the clauses he'd have to meet ffs. Man City don't bundle their young players into a car and take a surprise trip to Coventry with armed henchmen.

TBF the January window would be much more interesting if they did 😁

Didn't want to start a separate thread just for this, but hadn't seen it anywhere else on here. Read on the Blues forum that next season clubs will receive extra money, depending on league position (like the PL). I think that's a good idea, fwiw.
Depends on which way you look at it.

Most of the clubs near the bottom of the table are those who need the money the most. This would take money away from these clubs.

"Just remember Mr Robins, the Sheikh, he does you a favour here and he doesn't take kindly to the non playing of Manchester City loan players"
*leaves room as Robins and Bobb stare at each other in petrified silence*

Another issue is ffp is having an affect generally and the could be buyers ain’t out there,
In terms of being able to sign players for money we are rich and one thing that clears Doug King is very astute in Doug I trust to act in the interests of ccfc.

Bobb the Baller
Can we win it?
Bobb the Baller
Yes, we can!

Torp, Simms and Bobby and Callum too
Milan and Wright join the crew
Kitching and Jake, Tatsu and Brad
Playing together like good friends should

I'm just amazed PVA, a band from South London post on here and are trying to write songs for us? 😂
